I fuknin hate 7-11 parking lots there all the same they all have those huge concrete lips your gonna smack your ground effects on the way in and your gonna bottom out when you leave it unavoidable (unless you go 2mph and go one wheel at a time. anyways i drive a batter and bruised 86 IROC blue pretty much stock i got exhaust custom (homemade) ram air descreened maf k&n filters and white faced gauges whatever free things I can think of, the car should be painted (same color) with black leather seats going in by the spring maybe a little performance additions will come if i got the money

Patchogue here...got pics of the car at https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...ghlight=deemax . Radiateu2...don't be too sure about being too old for all of us. I drove DPA when it was barely more than a dirt road And Westhampton is closing for sure... just a matter of when. I think the towns already approved the rezoning of the land, clearing the way for the sale. Just like Islip....people move in next door...playing a lower price for their house because of what its next to....then yell and scream to close down the neighbor. My feeling is,...if you don't like the sound of the train, don't buy a place on the RR tracks! Any of you guys go to Bald Hill on Tuesday nights? (well...not now....but once the weather breaks, they do a great car show each week. No judging, just about 2, 3, sometimes 400 cars and bikes all gathered and parked under the lights. Although...if you're gonna come to race the local streets after...I'd just as soon you stay home. We don't need it getting a bad rep, and then forcing it to shut down).

Exit 63 north off the LIE, usually starts around 5, 6, or later. All over by 9 or 10....just follow the line of street rods.

$5 I think if you want to park in the show lot...3 for the spectator lot. You don't get any "runs" in...its not a race...its a show. You park...walk around...look...and talk.

TTRoc....thanks for the compliments. I saw a pic of your car and it looks real sweet too.

I used to be a regular at Bellmore, until the end of the 01 season. I moved out east, and couldnt get there as much, then I heard that as a result of a few old bags, that Bellmore was shut down
Anyway, If you get a chance, head up to Bald Hill, I jut started going last season, and it was real nice. Lots of nice rides, and not as cramped as Bellmore.

Bellmore isn't really done. People still go there and after about 10:00 there are a decent amount of cars. If I remember I'll update on it as I live close by and pass the station on my way home from work. There's also a thing in Farmingdale off Rt.110 on fridays a little south of Adventure Land but I think you have to pay $2 or something to get in.

People also meet at the Sears parking lot across from the Broadway mall on Tuesday nights.

yeah the usuals... but seems less and less people come out each year, and if they do they usualy bring older cars... not that i am against seeing older cars... i just prefer the newer genaration 80's+ sports cars...

wyclefsiocz : naa bro, I havnt been up there in a while. I do want to head up there one of these days though.

jbonz28: yeah, were practially neighbors I think the track is already open. I wouldnt worry about it closing anytime soon. Ive been hearing that for a long time, but who knows....maybe it will, but i doubt it.

Im also glad that Bellmore isnt completely done. I remember when people started meeting there back in the early to mid 90's. 10 years ago, the big cruise night for me was Nathans in Oceanside. Do people still hang there?

Do you guys ever meet up at any of these things? It would be cool to get a bunch of 3rd gens together.
