F-body Farewell has been pushed back to the rain date, Sept 29th, 2002

F-Body Show Approaching, Sept. 15th, (Printable Flyer Inside)
Sept. 15th, Quakertown Memorial Park. Easily accessible from the turnpike. Not exactly sure of the F-body expected turnout, the mass of registration flyers dont normally come in untill rite before the show. There are about 800-1000 flyers to just F-bodies though (who knows how many will come)
The dash plaques have a 4th gen z28 done up like a fire dept. vehicle.
Hot and Cold food served, Open to all years
I hope to see as many as you as possible, I really want a big third gen crowd.
and remember.. the bigger the F-body turn out is, the better the chance there is an F-body exclusive show next year.
Its kinda a big file but here is the flyer, print it and send it in.
If it is printing wierd, try going into your print options and seeing if you have an option for something like "scale to fit page" or something similiar.

How come your car gets to be on the flyer? It's not like its one of the nicest around . Hell yea count me in on this show. Even though it looks like i live 2 hours away. I don't have anything planed for September 15th yet. Actually I don't think I have anything planed other then June15th. Oh well is there a site to sign up or anything. print the page out and send it in. Whats the deal?

200 total cars is a pretty good turnout for a show like that. Last night by me they had a show that had over 150 registerred cars. All of it is held in a Bennigans parkinglot. The show is every Monday night and it gets better as the weather gets better. I'm definatly going to be at that show. what time is it over? And how far is E-town from the show?

Per Brian's request, I have made this into a sticky.
I am also going to say that I might be there, just have to see. Brian, I typically have Sundays off, and I could make a weekend trip out of this. What do you say to the idea of a mini Northeast Regional Gathering afterwards?

This is true, but look at how big of a region this board services...
We span anywhere from ohio to maine......
I looked at the maps, Quakertown is about a 7 hour drive for me, this is one way.
The fact that we've started planning so early, is an attempt to get as many people in the know about it as possible. It helps to get the planning as far in advance as possible

I'll probably be there, September is easier to plan for as opposed the modfest up at Dan's (ws6transam) in June, plus I'll have the engine broken in by then. I'm looking at having the engine assembled completely probably by mid-June. Money is a little tight right now (shoulda built a 350, I know, I know), and I don't want to stretch myself out. I want to take the time, get the car running right, drive it during the summer, then go from there.
I can make a weekend trip out of this show if there is a place I can pitch a tent up to camp.
I'd like to arrange some gatherings in either Ohio, or Pennsylvania, since I'm on the border of both. Do something like what the Cascade Crew does, have a couple gatherings a year. I'm willing to travel to Williamsport or Scranton, that sort of area, in order to have a gathering.

Ok I need to know what classes I could fit in and if I could go for more then one class? So far it looks like I could do 6, 8, and 11. Let me know if you could be in more then one class before I send in teh registration.

sorry I havent gotten back about the judging, the judging will be totally up to participants, so its whatever the people like better, I know a lot of people like to keep things original, some like mods.
I'd recomend all of us go into the camaro and firebird class, and not 80's-present or anything like that, just cause it is supposed to be grouped by class I think we decided, and I want all camaro and firebirds together since were trying to get a ton of them. hopefully we get as many as Im hoping for.

Cool not a problem. I will be in the F-body class. Hopefully the home court advantage don't count *** damn you got a great looking car it just gets better and better everytime I see it. Well I will be sending my registration form out tomorrow. Could we get the dash plaques customized? Like with our 3rd gen name on the also? That is if i am one of the people that gets them. But I will have my name on my car on the windshield. At least TWIZTID anyway don't know about the Z28 part yet still thinking.

Not really, there is normally 200 cars, but since I have been in charge of doing the F-body thing this year, there are over 500 maybe 6-700 flyers out t F-body owners, it just depends on them now. Im not sure how many are back yet cause the other guys wife handles that part. and most dont come in untill the last 2 or 3 weeks anyway.

I'm going to print out the registration for that tomorrow and have it in the mail this week. I'll be there with my '90 RS Camaro below. I live in Bethlehem, so it's not that far of a trip for me!

How would I get there from Williamsport, Pa? I may run over from college in the Merkur to see the f-bodies and some of the board members cars. I don't really have time to get the bird ready plus I would have to run home first to get it and that would take my whole weekend away rather than just sunday.

hey brett, take US-15 south till you get to I-80, then head east on I-80. You'll have a lengthy ride until you reach the Pocono interchange(exit). Then go south on the PA. turnpike till u reach the Quakertown exit. Take rt. 663 east until u get into town where you will hit a stop light w/ a Mcdonalds on the corner. Go straight to the next light, turn left.....next light, turn right.....less then a mile. Hope it aint to complicated
