Yes, they made one. I will post a pic soon. It is a 1983 model i do believe and it is yellow. They also had different series cars. One was named Splatter Paint and the such. I will see what I can do on the pics.

No chance at the walmart. I will say that Target had com Johnny Lightning Monopoly cars. One of which I do own that was a Green Z-28 that has a Z-28 game piece in it. That is cool. Maybe I can post pics of my little collection.
BTW: Would you be interested in a real White Metal, Die- Cast 1-38th model of an IROC? If so, I have one. They are no longer produced and are very rare. Like the Franklin Mint models.
Let me know,
Chris
In the meantime, I will see what I can post about what I do have.

John:
Go Here to view the cars I currently have.
The first yellow one you will come across is a 1/38th scale, Western Models 1985 IROC. It is missing the mirrors but is complete with all the "glass". If you are familiar, the Westen Models company has been discontinued with this model so it is no longer in production. It is no Franklin Mint or Danbury but comes damn close in my opinion. PM me for the rest of the details or for more detailed pics and I will send them to you. I have 2, one red and 1 Yellow. The Yellow one is the one I am selling as my IROC is Red and I would like to keep the one that is closest to what I drive. Not to say that it could not be repainted but with nothing available for these (yes, that includes the mirrors), I will leave it as is.

I as well have many Hotwheels and Matchbox 1:64 scales. I love collecting them, but I may be able to part with some doubles.
Here's some old pix of my collection. It's since grown a lot

That black one caught my eye, but it looks like a mid 80's model version. Am I right?

I know its not hotwheels but matchbox made a pretty cool IROC-Z camaro back in the 80's under the "new" lazer wheels look. heres what it looks like. I think i have a line on a new one for myself so there still not too hard to find in new condition even though there 17 years old about.

Also had a normal version of that that was not as flashy.

Well apparently Matchbox also made a pretty cool Firebird in the "lazer wheels" series. I already got the IROC from this guy but the firebird may still be up for grabs. Heres a pic for anyone interested

If you find a 90-92 Firebird, I'll definitely take a larger die cast version!

Boy do I feel lucky. I lost one many months ago and doing my reasearch only found 1 company that made a 1:64 convertible. Well, lo-and-behold......here she is!!
