Looks like I may be getting another 3rd gen Camaro again.
I sold my 86 Iroc when the economy crashed to pay off my truck. I just happened to be driving by a car lot and looked in and saw this 91 rs. She's got a V8 I'm told its a 350 and has a 5 speed. Wants 2000.
Now the bad. Drivers floorboard is about rusted through passangers side is in a bit better condition. If I replace one side I'm doing both sides.
T top headliner is missing and the rubber seals are ate up for the windows.
Door has a decent dent in it.
What do you think is a good price for this 91 rs.
I offered 1200 and the guy just about laughed at me.

Given the work it needs, I think your offer is OK.
I'd sure work to verify that 350 story.

^^^^ Agree with Dave, verify the 350 story.
No 350 and 5 speed were produced in 91

Yeah used car salesmen always tell you it has the "Vette 350" or something of the sort. Id rather it have a stock unmolested engine any day.

Sounds like a pile of junk. There are more out there. Keep shopping.
If I were in the market for a broken down, rusty car, then I would buy it from a private owner that is actually still driving it. It is a bad sign to see a pile of junk on a dealer lot because that means somebody gave up on it. Basically equivalent to turning it in to the junkyard for scrap, but dealer gave them more money and it was less hassle.

I bought practically the same car same condition but all stock for 1200. If it has a well done 350 swap it might be worth it

If they're asking $2000 they are are probably only into the car for $250-$500 at the most. The car's value is in the $2600-$7000 range depending on condition, but a rusted out floor board is not acceptable and would fail an inspection.
I agree with the $1200 offer and if they don't want to accept it then take your business elsewhere.

After passing on the 91 I found an ad of someone selling a 89 z28 (Thinking its an RS by the photos but has a TPI in it) for less money (1300) and in way better condition. Going to look at it on Sunday
