Re: anyone from iowa here
I'm from a tiny town called Missouri Valley in Southwest Iowa. Anyone from Council Bluffs and the surrounding areas would know the name. I would like to be in contact with people that can give me good places to get replacement parts for my 1991 GTA. I really want to put it back to all original, the weird thing about it though, it's a 305 not 350....not sure if that makes it more rare.

not really rare, but if it is like ours it was the only way to get T-Tops,in 91
all 350 91s were hardtops.

Don't know if any of you have time or know about it, but they? are doing an all generation, all camaro show at the 5 and Diner in Pleasant Hill tomorrow (Sat. Oct. 22) No entry fee, they are just checking to see how many show up and who would be interested in doing another one. Weather forecast sounds great so if you make it look for me in my green 92 vert. See you there.
Additional: they are having a few door prizes, a raffle and a 50/50 drawing. All for charity.

I really want to go but I have to work, I do have a couple friends that will be there. One is a green 96 Z28 convertible and the other is a red 02 SS special edition, both sound pretty radical(big cams), you cant miss em. have fun.
Mark.

The all generation, all Camaro show was a great time. Wish more had made it. Hopefully more advanced notice next year. I had the only 3rd gen there.

Another one from CR here, originally from Independence. Any of you by chance go to Kirkwood? There are four or five third gens I've seen floating around campus, all looking good

Re: anyone from iowa here
There is an all camaro show in the fall at bass pro put on by ICE (iowa camaro enthusiasts) from the camaro5 forum. Its very 5th gen dominant but still a good show depending on the weather. Quite a few really nice thirdgens showed up last fall. I don't feel a connection with most of the 5th gen crowd. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and now a lot of 4th genners have blood sweat and tears in there cars, while most 5th genners bought their way into this community. i don't mean this in a negative way, it just makes it more difficult to relate to one another. 10-20 years they'll be in our boat too.
Also thirdgen fest in crete IL is this weekend and from what i hear and seen in youtube videos, looks like a great gathering. Drive is pretty reasonable from our location. I would have gone this year but work didn't work out to go.
Hopefully we'll meet up sometime!
