Thanks DaveCS1....the car is on jackstands for the winter, time to do little clean-up and updating over the winter to get ready for April 08'.

i saw it was out of the alfi, it was in there for a while. i figured someone would be able to pick it up for 12-1500. if i could've talked my wife into it i would have bought it.

what all does that thing need? or at least, what are you doing to it?

Well i just redid the floorpans, it needs an interior, which im in the process of doin, and a little bit of body work/paint, but my dad worked in a body shop for a long time so its good. Oh yeah and a lot of go fast parts haha

Lincoln here, i go to Peoria with the car trailer now and then, i plan on going to there again by friday with the 85 cutlass to BEHR shredder yard,


and then right after that again with two big machines from the plant and some junk machine parts and stuff from there too

scared that i may come over there, since we both know that i am super close? lol(you have any junk metal, or know of anyone with a junk car for sale cheap by chance right now? i have a new car hauler, so... or if you know anyone needing auto repair work done for a good deal we can do it we have a personal garage equipped qwith a twin post 9,000lb WEAVR vehicle lift and we can do any repair, engine, tranny, axle replacement, struts, CV shafts, balljoints, heater cores, you name it, we do them all the time for half what shops charge or less sometimes even)

i am also between springfield and peoria

you could be williamsville, here in lincoln, elkhart, broadwell, hartsburg,

all extremely tiny towns except lincoln 15k

they are a couple hundred ppl if that, or hair more in some cases

there is alot of freeway en route between those two cities and three different freeways even

I-55 to I-155 the branch off to go between either peoria or bloomington- this branch off is just outside of town here Lincoln

I-74 to the 474 loop branch -
if you choose to take the loop, like i always do, to hit bartonville east peoria 6A exit just after the 474W blue colored Lohmann bridge


im going there again really soon with another about 2.5 tons of machinery, plant junk, etc

or a 79 mercedes

or my 85 F250 truck

not sure which yet

seems there are still very few central IL persons on here

there used to be like zero, i think i was the only one for a while

and a few years ago i never saw anyone from central il on any forums anywhere and i am registered on probably closer to 300 different ones

must be due to lower population

or the extreme low quantity of older vehicles left around here

probably both haha

peoria eats billions of vehicles every day

you guys should see over there at behr and allied

its insane the number of vehicles in the shredder pile

its HUGE! ENORMOUS! INSANE!

they must be rebuilding the shredder right now because the same vehicles as there were over a week ago were still there yesterday evne this poor 67 c-10 pickup that didnt evne look rusty was still on there, and complete

i evne saw a 64 or so ford pickup no rust sitting there waiting ot be put into the shredder

ppl will take naything to there, its really an epedemic anymore what ppl are taking in to be shredded

these vehicles are worth alot on the street but ppl wont even take the time to wait and try to sell them and make lots more $ off them and save their lives - before hauling them into the shredder

its sad really

makes you want to say screw it and give up and not care about any vehicles anymore

but i have to keep my 82 t/a

it is the only one i have ever seen in a couple or more years,

i think i have the only one left in this entire region

If you would pay attention as you get off of 474 Big O'S is the rib place next to the muffler shop on your left, that would be directly across Adams St. from BEHR
and as you curve to your right down by the stop lights the old Worm Ranch would be the brown building on your left on the other side of the lights right across from the entrance road to BEHR.
