Does anybody know of decent shop or person that fix gears? Preferably in the Milwaukee area. I recently put a "rebuilt" rear end in and now it howls...

Re: Calling all WISCONSINITES
I'm in WI but don't have a 3rd gen, but a car that used the TPI setup off a 87' Trans Am that I parted out (sorry, it was pretty rusty though). My cars use/used many other 3rd gen parts as well (swaybar, brakes, shifter handle, wheels, fans, belt setup, radiator, etc.) Thanks to GM for easy parts interchangability between cars .
I can't help but notice it's been a few years since the original post. Organizing stuff can suck sometimes but can be rewarding too. If people want to get together I'd say it's best to just pick a date well in advance and go with it. Just a suggestion. Another post suggesting a cruise would be a good way to start, cheap/free at least.

Hey... Black Creek is in the HIZZZZOOOUSE!!!!
<------- 1987 Z28 here... Use to have an all primer grey 1987 LT... from 1999 until 2004, I ran it every Saturday at WIR (for those of you from the appleton area, you COULDN'T miss it). For 2005, I ran my current Z, but towards the end of '05, I stopped racing it. Now, once in a blue moon, I bring it down there to scare the ricers and rustangs, but lately been running the 2 wheel kind at WIR and usually only when RSD is happenin'. I have on occasion, been known to venture down to Da Grove, but at all most a 3 hr trip there... it's a haul. I've had it at a couple of car shows here n there, took a couple of trophies, but it's really nothing to look at. Just something I put together to have fun with.

I am in Claedonia, just south of Oak Creek. I am on the Island of Guam right now for work. 86 degrees for highs and 76 for lows at night. This weather is making me miss the summer crusies and car shows. Can't wait to get the 92 RS out of storage. I was looking at the forcast for back home.. Cold and rain...I hope that will improve a little when I get back in April. I am jelous of the guys on this forum that are able to keep thier cars out year round!

I go to Gorgies Porgies on aturdays. I also try to get to The cruise night at Gus's Cantina in Franklin. That one was getting huge by the end of the season last year. It was held on Wednsdays same night as the Solid Gold one. Larger parkig area though....

Re: Calling all WISCONSINITES
i didnt know there was a carshow at gus's. it sounds cool im gonna have to head out there this year. didnt make it to gorgies porgies last summer but its been cool wen i was there. have you been to the mcdonalds on hwy 20 in racine? they have a car show on thursdays thats decent. me and my budy took his 87 fiero there a few times.

Re: Calling all WISCONSINITES
Gus's Cantina is probly the biggest one around that goes every week. Apparently there was some disagreements with the management at the solid gold Mcdonalds so most of the cars moved to Gus's. I haven't been to the Mcdonalds on hwy 20. I did not know that there was a show there. I will keep that in the back of my head though for this summer.

Hello I am from LaCrosse I purchased(rescued from Iowa) a 1991 Camero Rs for my son and we are slowly fixing her up. Has been fun driving it. Getting a new clutch and headers installed next week. What do you all think about having raised white letter BF goodrich Radial TA for tires?
