FS: 91 Camaro/parts car in Northern IL
Hey everyone, i know this is my first post but i'd really like to finally get rid of this. Ive tried the advertiser, local mags, and ls1tech(currently own a '01 T/A) where someone told me to come and try here, so here it goes....
I'm looking at finally getting rid of my 91' Camaro RS. First off let me get the bad stuff out of the way, it was in an accident and has been sitting in my backyard for a bout 2 years now, hasn't been started in a little over a year. I was looking at trying to swap the parts out to another third gen but do not have the time. The accident caused the frame to become bent, the driver side door hits, and you can see a ripple in the rear driver side fender. The hood, and rear bumper are damaged too. I was at a stop and was rear ended by a pick up doin 40mph, who then sandwiched me between the pick-up stopped in front of me. This happened 3 months and a little over 3,000 miles after all the mods were completed. I didn't even have anytime to truely enjoy them.
All mods were professionally installed and have a little over 3,000 miles on them:
GMPP 350 H.O. Crate Engine 330hp/380tq
Edelbrock MPFI Intake used the stock TB
Edelbrock TES Headers
Magnaflow Hi-flow Cat
Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-Back
Powertrax Differential
Richmond 3.73 gear
Also has newer speakers all around. Pioneer 4 way 6x9's in back and Polk 4x6's up front
It has the stock 700r4, with a small trans leak. A built tranny was the next on my list. Stock suspension, Disc brakes upfront and drums in the rear. It has t-tops that do leak, like every other third gen. NO headliner, sold it a while back, and NO radio.
The intake came with a chip that didn't mesh to well with the stock computer. Was in the process of getting it custom tuned when the accident happened. The car ran a little rough at start-up, and would hesitate once in a while acceleration. But when it was running good, it was extremely fun.
Wish i could get back all the money i put in it, but i'm looking at just trying to get something back, and to get it out of my back yard. It's been so hard to get rid of it, being my first car, but the time has come to finally do something.
I'd like to sell it whole, make it a lot easier. But Parting it out is OK, but everything is still in the car. I don't have to time or space to take everything out and have it sit somewhere.
I also have the stock 305 if anybody wants that, it's a little disasembled but i got everything..somewhere, it just doesn't have the throttle body, had to use it for the MPFI. It has over 70K miles on it.
Thanks for looking....any help, any help at all, on getting this out of my backyard would be GREATLY appreciated.

You are going to have to part it out. I don't know anyone who will pay 3K for a car wrecked in the front and back. If it was front only I would give you 2K. But the rear is alot harder to fix because they don't make full replacement quarters yet. Get to choppin Dude!

Rockford's about 1.5 to 2 hours west of Round Lake Beach.
Looks like parting out the car is the way to go. You'll also get more cash for it.
