I have a 1984 Z28 camaro for sale, specs are as follows
350 unknown mileage
700-r4 auto trans
Body is pretty much rust free except for a spot or two the size of half a dime or smaller, hard to spot and one small dent again hard to notice. Body has 49k miles
T-tops still has the bags and dont leak
Cd player
Cruise (doesnt work, just not hooked up)
Aftermarket eagle rims
Car is black with grey interior
Not sure on a price thinking maybe $1,250 or best offer, will also accept trades.

Engine: 5.7 with some mods.
Transmission: 700r4 needs shift kit
Axle/Gears: Stock.
hows it run?
i got a 84 305 camaro with bolt ons i will trade with a yamaha bike. the bike is pretty ****ty has been sitting out side for a while like 2 years. the bike runs just need the carb put back on the mufflers and the brakes blead. its kind of dirty and rusty from sitting but if you wanted the motor or something it would work fine. like its drive able with some new paint and cleaning. its like a 80's yamaha 700 or something i forgot. if your interested in a trade ill post you more info. my camaro is running good. th700r4 trans has some dings and scraches but nothing a little dent puller or pluger type thing cant fix with a new paint job. the intearor is is good shape. the zebra style seats. and the berlinetta front bumper but it doesnt have digital guages. i am selling my car also for $1500 but i want a 350 bad cause they are easyer to build imo.

I will get some pictures of my camaro and see what you think before anything is agreed upon or anything like that. Also what wheels are with it? Or is it exactly like in the picture?

Forgot to say, car runs fine, lil cold blooded, been that since i bought it, havent really touched it, been busy and dont drive it enough to bother me. Also it idles lil high cuz i'm assumin the carb needs to actually be adjusted, again like this when bought no time to tinker with. I would say just get a new carb anyway (dont like q-jets myself)
And shifter linkage needs adjusted as when u put it in park it doesnt always get into park and can roll alittle.
Other then that, runs strong, shifts good, no problems really.

same as in the pic. the rims are chrome american racing 14inches. tires are not that great on them though. deffinetly need new rubber. yeah my linkage under the car needs to be tightened too for the spedo. the needle bounces here and there. what do you think your camaro runs in thw QM? i never been to a track but i think low 15's to high 14's. so you car is stock?

In the pic your camaro has two diff style rims, which is it or both gonna be on it?
No idea on the 1/4 mile time, never took it to a track and ya its all stock except the fact the original 305 was taken out and a 350 put in it.

Finally got pictures of the camaro which you can see here. http://community.webshots.com/album/237025655NVAIGm
Few things i forgot since i drove it today and its been bout a week since the last time.
Key is broke off in the ignition, bought it like that, never bothered to take it out.
And wipers dont work, not sure why, never looked into it bought it like that but dont drive it enough and dont drive it in the rain so no problems.
Other then that i cant think of anything else.

well my car doesnt have heat or a/c or a wiper motor i never found one that worked yet to put it in. i have the same gauges as you and the same shift ***. im looking at the car now and ummm..... i dont know. is the car fast? like does it spin the tires from a stop just by stomping on the gas and no brake? i dont really care how dirty it is im just going to repaint it and maybe gut it some and make it faster. im guessing the rear is a peg leg correct? what are those rims? 14's? and does it come with them? if not ill need to take my rims too.

The rims are 15's and if your car comes with the rims as in the pictures then i will be keeping mine.
Yea its a peg leg and it will spin the tires from a stop without a problem. For someone who hasnt drove it anything but a mostly stock 350 car then ya its fast but i have driven alot faster so to me its not all that fast.
second my car does have heat, no idea on a/c or if it even has it, y need a/c with t-tops anyway.

well i the picture the front rims are the american racing rims and the back ones are some crager ss's. right now i have some pontiac rims on there for the winter so the chrome doesnt get damaged. but if i trade i will throw the o wait you said your keeping your rims. so ill just keep mine and leave the pontiac rims on. so whats the 350? stock with a carb? and the t-tops dont leak? i dont know though. i never driven a stock 350 camaro so i dont know what they are capable of. i know my car will beat a stock 305 camaro by a couple cars. but will you 350 beat a stock 92 camaro 305 tbi by more then a couple cars? will it kill it or what? does the motor need rebuilding, like does it smoke or ping or tic or knock anything like that? i already know what im going to do to it if it runs strong.

As far as i know the engine is all stock with a carb. And yes the t-tops dont leak.
Never been up against a stock 92 camaro with a 305 tbi but from drivin a 305 compared to a 350 it wont have a problem beating it i know that for sure.
Also power doesnt always determine a race its driver skill and how you drive.

Car: 92 RS
Engine: 305 TBI-hypertech chip
Transmission: auto
Rust around the edges, some high school kids tried to repair it. I recently aquired it from the local high school. It sat since 2001. the exhaust leaks by the cat. Runs great, the truck reads 52k miles so I'm assuming it's 152k miles. New BFG long trail t/a tires on it. Newer battery. There is rust in the usual areas, rockers and wheel wells where the alum. trim sits. Under the hood is very clean. An elderly couple owned it before giving it to the school. The school got rid of it because they have no room and to many other donors, most of them are newer rigs. I just gave it a fresh tune up and am going to replace the O2 sensor.

4wd works fine, I'm not sure if the A/C works, I'd venture to say it needs a refill since it sat so long. I'm currently running a few tanks of premium gas through it to clean out the fuel system. Have 2 fullsize spare tires for it, both rally style.

o yeah, can you get a pic of the engine?
and is the motor in the camaro not original? since you say milage not known on the motor. o yeah it has to be a different motor because 84 camaros didnt come with 350's only 305's as an option. if you know, where did the motor come from and what did it come from? and do you have to numbers off the block of the motor because if you get those i can go to htttp://www.mortech.com and find out what kind of motor it is. i have already been some something as in this camaro by someone telling me it was a 350. i looked up the numbers and it came back as a 305 but i think its not. i think it was a 305 bored out to a 327. the kid had a couple motors. one from the car before, one from an elcamino and one that was bored to a 327. i think he put the parts from both the 350 and 305 since they both where messed up in their own way and made the 327 run.
i dont know how much more power a 600cfm carb and performer intake will give a 305 over a stock one but i dont think it is as much as i got now.
i still dont know if i want to trade or not because im getting attached to my car. i was even going to sell it and buy a stang but now i decided not too. ill get the newer pics soon. and pics of the bike. ill decide by next week if i still want to trade or not. then again you might find something better so only time will tell for now.
