Hi.
I make it out there a few times during the year. I haven't run out there yet, but I know a bunch of people that do. Its always cool to get a pit pass so you can check out all the nice cars

That is were I run my car. I have been going there for about ten years now. used to run my motorcycle there. Have been running my 84 camaro for the last 4 years. I try to get there about 5 times a year. I went 2 weeks ago but got rained out. Going to go again on the 4th of june. I run a purple camaro with primer colored cowl induction hood.

Hey bohn333 I did not read your post until today other wise I would have came over to say Hi. I did see your car. You were pitted just a little bit down from me. Your car sure is in nice shape. Is that the original paint on it? I have a 83 camaro that I am redoing. and want to paint it that same color blue. What was your best time? I got a 12.16 at 112 mph. I will be going back on the 18th and 19th of this month. going to run hot rod class on saturday night.

Ok...i know your car now..i was gonna come talk to you to, but the women wanted to sit and watch. I didn't have a very good night. The car was stuck in closed loop and the MAF took a crap on me, but i still managed a 12.86 at 106mph with it poping and banging on the big end.
My brother painted my car for me acouple months ago, still needs to be buffed, but looks ok. I usally don't go for bracket days, car is way to inconsistent for that. But i'll be back for the next RSD with a carb under the hood and some more spray.

i was not able to make it there on june 4th .obviously. when i went to time my car on thursday my dampener had slipped so the timing marks were off, i quick went and bought a new dampener friday after work and had to borrow tools to put it on, unfortunatley i gave tools back before i fired up the car because the bolt holes for the crank pully were for some reason coarse thread instead of fine thread so i dropped the installer off when i went to pick up new bolts, anyway when i got back home and went to fire up the car it was obvious the ballancer wasnt right, the whole thing shook, i thought i was going to loose the motor right then.so i just shut the hood and gave up until today, now the car is running again so i hope to be up for the next RSD

That sure would be nice.
glad to hear you got your car running again. Are you going to try to make it next friday for high school night. You only get to make three runs, but for $15.00 Thats not to bad. I,m going to stay and do some bracket racing on Saturday. Kinda hard to be consitant with a stick, but last year I made it through 4 rounds. got my entry fee back plus a few bucks. Also had lots of fun.

Yes a single exhaust will kill the power. I used to run a ypipe with 3inch single noticed a big improvement when I went to 21/2 inch duals. It was worth the ground clearance lose. See ya there on Friday. What color is your car so I can stop by and say Hi.

If you guys go for next RSD, come find me. I'd like to get some races set up. No money though, just fun !!!

I got to see your second qualifing run 84 firebird. That car runs good and strong. I can't believe the hook you get with those street tires. I managed to run a 11.92 at 113.44 for a first round win but lost in the second round. I am going to do some distributor work and borrow my friends 850 demon and come back on a wednesday night for some test and tune I will let ya know when I am going.

Yeah. The track was prepped pretty good. All i did was tach it up to about 1500 rpm and take my foot off of the brake , and let it lung forward to the 60' mark. The track was so nice i was able to get into it quicker than i thought.I just wish i had left the timing alone for the second run, i would have hit an 11.9 . Oh well next time

I do Hey where is this strip located at? My buddy and I found a place we'll be racing at a few times this year, just north of the WI-IL border. I'm not sure what town or where it is or what its name is.

DuronClocker I believe the track you are talking about is Union Grove Wisconsin. This track we are at is in Kakauna Wisconsin just north of Appleton.

I got it off the RSD site, They never seem to take pics of my car...must not be fast enough..lol, probally true though. I hang out at wisconsinstreetdominators.com where all the RSD guys talk, you should come join. We need some more chevy guys there, its corrupted with ford guys.
I don't know if i'll make it to the next RSD, i think i broke a ring in my engine, guess it doesn't like that nitrous so much. Know anybody who wants to buy a nice TA roller?? I think its time for a new project.

I'm hoping to get down there later this summer, I am going to get my car running tomorrow. I hope to see all of you there sooner or later. My car is an 83 Trans Am with a 350 tpi swapped in, as soon as my girlfriend gets her money from her grandmother, she is buying me HSR she told me she plans on letting me have a decent amount to spend on it.
