75-80 Dragway, June 25th - Run What You Brung!
Just putting it out there -- this is the third year this track has been reopened so it's not typically a huge crowd, which translates into a decent amount of runs.
Here's a link to their website -- if you're going out there, PM me and maybe I can meet you out there and say hello. I live about 15 minutes away from the track.

Really? No one? The track is newly paved, they got rid of the dip and there's plenty of stopping space...with tracks so hard to come by I'd really like to see them be around a while.

If I wasn't busy I'd go up there. I went there the last night it was opened and haven't made it back since :-/

Well, thanks for at least acknowledging the post -- all the talk about racing and nowhere to go, I was hoping to see a few of my old buddies there.
I got the purple beast back -- after a year of rebuilding -- and think I'm going to run her once or twice just to see how she does. I hope people are just too busy for the boards and show.

Would be great to see the Blue Beast again -- it's been a while. What ever happened to the group that used to meet in Eldersburg at the Dairy Queen? Any idea?

Well, I made it out there -- not happy with my times on the new stroker, but uncovered what could have been some really major issues (cooling issues, gas leak issues....errrrr) that I wouldn't have normally seen.
Had a blast and can't wait to get these resolved and try it again.
