Budds Creek MIR

I'm planning to run at Budds Creek this Friday for a couple runs. My question is, since I will be running my ET streets, do i NEED a driveshaft safety loop to pass inspection?

Re: Budds Creek MIR

IIRC nhra rules say 11.5 and faster it's required, and most dragstrips go by their rules, so if you're running faster than that yes

I believe you need it if you run slicks,Dr's or as said 11.5 or quicker .Can be no farther then 6" from trans yoke. I have been a few times with my DR's and they have never checked though. If you need one I have a bolt on from Summit I will sell cheap as my new trans mount has one.

no you dont need ds loop i kno for a fact because i ran those et streets i sold u at mir multiple times and aslong as there dot et streets not et drags u dont need a loop and if your 11.5 and faster u need cage if your slower then that alls u need is a helmet and me to watch your car go fast

btw when i get my car inspected they dont even open the hood or look at it. if your car as loud as hell with prostars and cowl hood then they might check **** but most of there employees see a thirdgen and go 15 second car.

Re: Budds Creek MIR

that was my arguement, but apperently a 14.2 at 115 mph is a bit too high
