Capitol Raceway Sunday Nov. 19th Test&Tune
Sunday test and tune at Capitol Raceway......12-5?? (or later) $20 to run.
Dusting off the camaro, putting on the drag radials, and airing it out!!
Should be a good time with very few fart-can ding dongs!!

Thats sweet, your car looks great. I saw it at the Third Gen nats but never met you directly there.
Wish i woulda got a chance to run my car at least 1 time this year but then again i probably wouldnt have wanted to see the times with the new T56! lol. I plan on getting to the track a lot more next year with some actual engine mods.

Thanks!
Practice your launches on the street. Worst you can do is burn up the clutch!
I had a great time racing. Weather was perfect, and not too many cars there either. I'm ready to go again.

Ya id do terrible at the drag now, as i have not really practiced launching my car at all. What always makes it hard is you grip so much better at the track cause its preped so much better then the street(obviously) so it makes it hard to find the right rpm dump or how much you slip the clutch on the street. Cause all that changes once your at the strip. I noticed that even with the 700R4.
Its the end of the year and the car is pretty much off the road so itll wait till next year to learn.
This kevlar twin disk clutch is also coming out because its complete overkill on my car and its just too heavy / too much chatter for street driving.

with launching, slipping/quick slipping is the best way to do it. buddy of mine ran a 13.1 in a showroom stock 04 GTO by slipping the **** out of the clutch. once you actually have the rear to do dumps, youll know why i said keep the twin disk. my buddy aaron from tech leaves off a 6200rpm 2-step and last time i saw him run, he lost a wheel.
