I have a few ideas so far.
3RD GEN
3RDGENZ
3GENZ28
350CI?
ZZZ 350?
with the street rod tag its like one payment of 40 bucks and you get the tag for the whole 2 years, so i figure its worth it. i wanna think of something a little cooler though.

i have an *** load of reciepts including the one for the new motor, the new rear, and the new tranny. also they still dont make the camaro right now. and in october they are changing the rule to 20 years no matter what. street rod doesnt have to do inspection or emissions but cant go on the highway. historic has to pass emissions (unless its pre 79) but not inspections, and you can drive it a couple times a week whereever. im still debating, but street rod tags are cool. and you guys are asses.

i have mine registered as a "collector car" no model year limitations and no emmission inspection, just check the odometer. limited to 3000 miles a year with a 2 year inspection. i barely put 3000 miles on in 2 years, i dont even have a cat or any emmission equipment and never had a problem.

How about "4 SALE" or "HAV2SEL" or "CANTFIX" or "NEEDHLP" or "PSTWHOR".
Seriously, I will still do the old wait and see additude with regards to "Historic Tags".
OneBadZ4u
P.S. That's allready taken!

I thought of it years ago but never acted on it. Considered putting it on a a '68 396 SS/RS Camaro I had but chose to go with 396 SS-RS instead. I had to go with the dash because I couldn't get the slash back then. Now all I have is the tag and the memories...

i like these...maybe ill put RETARD. cause everyone has to start somewhere, and i never thought id get so much crap for trying to learn about my car and get better with it. i thought this would be a good place to get started and get some help, but instead im just getting bashed by everyone, cause im trying to learn some things.
and i post alot cause im bored, im not a postwhore. i never just answer threads with "i like it" or " " i just state my opinion on something if i really really like it or hate it, and i ask some questions.

oh yea, and you cant play the wait and see game, cause i ran out of time to get these. i leave for school on friday and i have absolutely no time to take care of this now. anyhow, and soon as my friend bob gets back from the beach (next week) hell post up pics of his car and you can clearly see his 85 camaro with street rod tags. hope this helps ya, i think you just gotta hit up the right MVA and talk like you know the facts. i bet a lot of the cashier people there dont know the rules and if you act like you know em, you can talk them into it.

BlueBeast, Did you have to do anything special to get the tags? or Was it just "your car is tweenty years old you get historic tags"?
Thanks,
Rob

This form, was it a special form or a standard form for all vehicle tagging purposes? Just courious, sounds like that ruling, 20 years, has taken effect.

this form was for the historic/street rods tags only. can print it off from there web site or at the main counter at any MVA.

BlueBeast, I have looked at the form. Box #3 indicates that there are 4 criteria you must meet. What was your supporting doccumentation for the fact that the vehicle is no longer made??
Thanks,
Rob
P.S. here is the form link: MVA Documents for Downloading
