ill do whatever i can to get there. we opened up my distributor and found the problems, and wound up using a spare one my friend had. turned out it was missing the weights we needed to make it a mechanical advance (we locked it out from vaccum advance). so 4 bucks at summit and im good to go.

Sorry everyone. I forgot about the previous years problems with finding this location. For some reason they have it listed as being in Sykesville. Here is the address straight off of mapquest:
Dairy Queen: 410-549-5500
2030 Liberty Rd
Sykesville, MD 21784, US
Map of Dairy Queen, 2030 Liberty Rd Sykesville, MD by MapQuest
If the above link works it should give you the mapquest site and a map.
ABSOLUTELY YES IT'S OPEN TO ALL F-BODY'S!!!!!
Catch you later,
Charlie.
----------
The Dairy Queen is on the North side of the map though, to give you a heads up, no matter what it shows you.
All F-body's, All years, All generation's.
Catch you later,
Charlie.

I'll be doing my best to make it there. There's a show in Damascus on Saturday -- no trophies that I know of, but just a gathering of beautiful cars -- for anyone who's interested.
Looking forward to seeing all the folks I've missed this past year or so that we haven't been meeting. Is anyone still going to the Mt. Airy Jimmie Cone on Saturday nights?

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but I checked out the posts and don't see anything for Friday??? Then again, I can't come anyway -- I'm on a Friday night bowling league.

I had a fun time too. It was good seeing Charlie and Alan again. Boy Alan's car sounds good even from a half mile away! Although I didn't meet Steve directly, he certainly has one clean 25th Z28 Camaro. Nice Rims! It was good to also meet Kris and Lori. And you gotta love a Blizzard!! See you all next time!

i usually work 12-6 on sundays, how long do the meets last usually? would i have to call off, cause its a pretty far drive for me, or would it still be going after i got off.

Depending upon the weather some meets have lasted up until almost 6pm in the past. Last weeks meet lasted till about 4:30, everyone got a little too roasted from the heat and called it a day.

Don't forget, every other Saturday we also meet at the Jimmie Cone in Mt. Airy. That's not nearly as far as the Dairy Queen meet. Only thing is, I haven't seen any people from CMF at the Jimmie Cone before, but it's on our list of dates/places to gather. If I know someone is going to be there, I'll definitely go there. It's not too far from my house.
EDIT: This Saturday was the Jimmie Cone gathering, so it won't be for another two weeks.

Sorry I didn't get to the meet. I went to the junk yard and scored a quick ratio steering box though. Then I went and helped Toxic Iroc put his headers on. We worked until 10 at night, then worked on it again on monday. After all the work, he drove 2 miles and the car cought on fire. Turned out it was the battery cable was just bad, so not as bad as it sounds.
Anybody got Pics from the meet?
