My 85 T/A Four Years Later
Well, been a real long four years with this car now, it's driven me to the point of insanity, this car was a basket case from day 1 without a doubt. I got a deal on basically a running rust free car. It's needed everything and still needs more! But as of now it's the best running and looking it has ever been in the time I've had it. Estimated 215k on the body, 15k on the motor and 5k on the (race built) trans. There's too much to say about what I've done, so I'll let the pictures speak for me. I'll take some more underhood and interior pics tomorrow or Thursday, but for now I'll show off my $250 Maaco paint job (and my G8 GXP).
Good to be driving it again!

Looks nice, what kind of rims are they 14 or 15 inch snowflake. I have 14 inch bowling ball
Rims on mine I thinking of changing them to 15 inch snowflakes.

Those are the 15" Year One Snowflakes. I love them! Though I have no idea what I was even on when I bought the tires, completely the wrong size! They burn off quick though with this car so they'll get gone soon.

Are you nuts? Hang onto the bowling *****. Those are rare. Never sell those or part with them.

thetaman85 I see you live in an apt complex. Get that car in self storage or the garage of someone you know so people don't f* with it!
(Wow, look how low it is compared to the G8. I think that G8 is higher than my GP.

Well problem is they both get driven every day, so the option to store one isn't there. I'll be moving out of here to a place with a garage next year though.

Looks good for a $250.00 paint job. What kind of carb do you have. Did you pull the ECM
With no problem.

Re: My 85 T/A Four Years Later
I had those custom made by Flaming Decals years ago...
I have an Edelbrock carb, 1406, it was originally a TPI car, I just pulled the SES bulb from the dash and left the PCM where it sat. No need to mess with it, everything is mechanical and I have a B&M controller for TCC lockup.
