Just kidding.....not really a hyrid at all, but rather a beautiful 85' base 305 firebird dressed up to look a bit like a T/A. Been slowly doing a total restoration for about a year and a half. Just finished adding a $7200 polyurethane paint job at George Paul's, the famous MS race car driver/classic vehicle restorer's shop (see thumbnails). Engine is completely standard 305 without need for any overbore (despite 270,000 original miles) but reconfigured from ECM quadrajet to emissions-free Edelbrock 1406, GM vacuum/mechanical HEI, manual lock-up 700R4 tranny. Still not 100% finished, but you get an idea of where I'm going.
