Who Likes Barn Finds? 1984 T/A
Picked this up Today..
Its very dusty and needs painted, But I cant find a dent or any rust. All original under the hood too. Cant wait to get started!

Look like the GTA wheels to me.Never seen them on a vette.I got one like that at the house I found on the side of the road lol.

Not a GTA rim though similar. Those crosslaces were popular through the 80s.

how many miles? in my personal book a barn find is one that also has VERY low miles for its age. car looks good

Just got her running!.. It started up on carb spray. so I was pretty happy. Ran it off a gas can and put the return line in another gas can and went to start it.. First thing that happened was it overflowed with fuel all over the intake.. So I opened it up to find a stuck float and metering rods stuck all the way down. A little cleaning and a rebuild kit later No more flooding. Went to crank it and now Nothing, Even on my trusty Beryman!.. Lookout!.. Fouled Plugs! HAHA! New Plugs in. Half a crank and Vrooooooom! Ran it about 2 minutes and had 3 successful restarts.
Also Iv got red Dash Lights.. Is this on all 84s? I remember 83 being a pace car thing.
Any thoughts on the fuel lines from the tank? I tried putting some low psi air back through the lines and I'm getting no resistance. Don't even hear bubbles from the filler neck. Iv got about 8 gallons of fresh gas in it.

the red (or more orange-ish) dash lights were standards on 84s. Very nice find and I would love to have a Delorian next to my 84 T/A as well! Those 15" crosslace rims were offered on 3rd gens in addition to the more popular 16" version. I'm not sure what year the 15s were offered.

High i have an 1983 ram air 305 chevy 4 b. carb 5 s[eed T Top's black & gold TRAN AM Tan Interor 31,000 miles look like new some dings. I like the way your's look the lights looks real good. And I want to put different wheels on mine like the GTA rims their 16 inch i have 14's gold rib. I would like to know how to change them. also how to make my dash light brighter Don

The 'vette wheels you are referring to are aftermarket BBS wheels. They were very popular on corvettes and BMW's. The pontiac rims were modeled after them.
