Re: Post your firebird pics
should be making about 550hp on a stock 150k 5.3 LS. I don't know the formula to calculate HP off of injector duty % But at 9psi and my 55ish injector duty cycle someone on this forum calculated about 525hp. So add 2.5psi and a 68% injector duty cycle and figure what that's about. This are 72lb injectors btw.
The Supercharger is pulley'd down already so I cant increase boost anymore. But I'm already gathering parts for ported heads, lifters, cam etc. Should net me a minimum of 100hp easily on the cam alone without boost.
But I'm done at 650hp... no need for it on the street. its already almost too much unless I get a nice straight away and lots of room lol. But Ive done that and wanted more streetability so a tame motor and boost works for me.

Re: Post your firebird pics
haha u better believe it but thank you. Anymore and I'd be tempted to use it and prob total the car. Only reason its getting a cam is that I'm pulling the whole top end off to freshen the valve train and get new reman heads so the top end is like new. Since the motor has 150k of prob harsh miles I might as well throw in a cam to take advantage of the blower. I picked up a used Lq9 cam (stock 6.0 peanut cam) which would net me 40hp at 6000/6500 over the LM7 cam (stock 5.3 peanut cam). But Cammotion wants me to get a $400 custom cam lol which would net me like 100hp over stock and retain stock ish idling/driving at low RPM.

Re: Post your firebird pics
^ sounds cool....point exact lol but I'd beat up the setup you have now until a problem arises to have to refreshen the top end...I try not to be wasteful lol... either way great work!!!

It's an 88' GTA, 5.7. 18x10 xxr's with 285/40 Goodyear Supercars on all four corners, wing from my 2000 TA, RA2 hood, traded my original GTA wheels for the black paint work and spoiler mounting. It's +20 on all 4 and 1" spacers plus the front I used the factory spacers to clear the hub dust cap. Once I swap my new brakes on I should be able to ditch that.
