thanks yeah. gonna black plastidip my perfect golds black gloss this spring bi love the wheels it has but want a change and hate the stock golds. it's so 80s BMW to me as I had a TA back then and actually disliked the GTAs then cause of that and they copied my monochrome 86 Ta that I took the tape off. see my pic on the left of it

Re: Post your firebird pics
biased opinion lol
granted i like em powder coated black after urs...or polished like others
granted not too many agree with my wheels on a bird
either way didnt mean to distract attention from the rest of it...his detail on the car has been A+++

Thanks. I will be addressing the rims soon. I've decided to keep them (for now, anyway) and will detail them.
The upholstery was done by Howard Krusey in Altamonte Springs, FL (pretty close to Oralndo), http://www.completeautoupholstery.com/. Howard has been doing automotive upholstery for decades and he's a great guy. Actually, I have to call him since I want him to see my car.

Funny that you say that! I have a set on my car that I am going to let him borrow while he is getting his wheels refinished. You'll have to post a pic of it for us Luis when you get them on. BTW Luis, you can take them whenever you are ready since I am not currently using them

Rain delay in my build so i thought i would post my latest pics... heh
Now that the interior is done and am in the middle of a T56 swap, i decided to do an undercarriage makeover. She was getting pretty darn fugly after 30 years.

Re: Post your firebird pics
I scrubbed the oil off and sanded it down and then sprayed it with rubberized undercoating. The fuel and brake lines were cleaned with steel wool till they shined 'pretty easy', the brackets and screws were just cleaned and painted. For the exhaust and the trans i used VHT header silver. Am now moving to the back but then had the rain delay. I have a Spohn trans mount/torque arm to throw in there, 3" aluminum driveshaft and the rest of the suspension/chassis pieces are red powder coated as well. I started grinding the rear end so i can get that painted and install a Proform perfect launch girdle. It's just a 4th gen 10 bolt but it has a aftermarket auburn posi 3:42 with moser axles, c-clip eliminators and, disc breaks. With the rain delay though am stuck indoors playing Drag Racing on my tablet. I built a 10 second Trans Am in level 4.... yeeeehaaaa

Re: Post your firebird pics
Carlos,
Been wondering if you got it back, now I know! Left you a message on GTA Source a while back.
Car looks great, can't wait to see more of it. Did you get the big GTA wheel made?
If you need me to take care of your WS6 I'd be glad too, after all, you need to get the GTA together...just trying to help a brother out..

Re: Post your firebird pics
Here's mine I just picked up off a former member on here. Plans are, half a coil out of the front, and i have shiny new alum heads, a performer rpm intake and a good old Holley 750, Hurst quarter stick shifter, a couple pillar mounted guages, and that's about it. Very excited to be here, even more excited for summer to drive the wheels off it.
Of course, it would appear I'm internet challenged and can't post pics...
