Re: Post your firebird pics
Hey guys! I just found this great thread. So I thought I would post a few pics of my '89 GTA
I'm in the process of putting an LS1/4L60E in it.
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/ltx-...p-my-89-a.html
Should be sweet once I get it finished.

Re: Post your firebird pics
Yeah, They would have originally been on a 77/78 T/A. I got mine from Yearone. They're reproduction 15x8's. They have them with different color paint in the inner part of the deign, I chose silver to match my coming paint scheme. They fit just as well as the originals do, I wouldn't go wider than that in the front though...

That's an awesome GTA. Where'd you get that ram air filter? and does it clear the hood?

Re: Post your firebird pics
It's under restoration now Going in the paint booth this winter, and going with black w/ truefire bird on the hood and b-post. Mild custom. Since the car has a newer fascia and tail I don't see the reason to go original on the paint sceme

Bigbad, awsome canyon pics!!!
Basically been waiting on door panels, bent a wheel driving over a boulder (now finally fixed after 1 month!!!!), so in the time the t/a sat i decided to polish tpi plenum. Didnt actually finish since it takes an INSANELY long time to do but big difference from before...

Re: Post your firebird pics
Thanks she is a project.
For the wheels not much yet just strip and repaint. Right now my agenda is as follows.
1. Weld in patches underneath.
2. POR15 the floor inside and out.
3. Install newer seats and carpet.
4. Rewire back up lights
5. Install aluminum drive shaft and replace fluids
6. Replace e brake cable
7. Install sub frame connectors
8. Install 2.02 vortec heads
9. Drive till trans or clutch dies then back to work
