Good ol bump for a bad *** car.
I made his guage rings for him. I love this car. Wish my lt1 looked as good. He has me on looks but I bet I have him on power...lol. Some day I'll redo it all and make it look pretty.
Ive been thinking of doing a few more sets of guage rings but then he wouldnt have a one off set. lol.

Re: Took TONS of new pics of my bird! Check it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for all the props!
- Used Tunercat and Datamaster to fine tune a few things
- Can't do anything about the front plate...gotta have it
- I have some plans about the hatch area. First the glass is gonna get tinted
- You could use a 700r4 w/ the LT1, but why would you want to
- Top Rad mount is from an early Chevelle (w/ some modification of course)

700R4 and 4l60e are the same transmission. 4l60e is just /more/ electronically controlled.

Very nice car. Where did you get the hood from? It looks like it fits pretty good. I got one from Hawks and it's junk. I hate it.

Re: Took TONS of new pics of my bird! Check it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks! I reworked the hood w/ more glass, etc. to make it fit better before I finished it. It was way off and the 2 pieces were separating real bad when I got it. Took a lot of work to get it to where it's at now! For the mounting of the spring, I don't have any pics of it, but it's pretty straight forward. Just look at where the support has to be, and make a bar/etc. to support it on the hood.

Re: Took TONS of new pics of my bird! Check it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks again! I'm gonna be doing tints soon...I'll be prepping the hatch for it, getting rid of the defroster grids, etc (no use for it). I wish I could get the LINES out, but they are like etched in...oh well, it's pain in the @$$ enough to scrape off the freakin' wires...haha...
I'll also be doing another paint job soon (keeping it similar with a few body mods)...and I have interior work to do...it just never ends!
I doubt I'll get to any of the latter before summer...so, I'll just cruise it this time and get that stuff done hopefully thru the next winter

Damn! I have seen alot of Formulas before, but that one takes the cake! The attention to detail is absolutely amazing! I love how clean the LT1 looks in the bay with the "Firebird" intake covers...simply fantastic!

I tend to prefer the Camaros over the Birds but I have to say I like yours. I love the color. I cant wait to get back to work on mine.
