Re: one more saved from the junkyards...

I wish I had the front and rear 91/92 bumpers like I do now, but now she's all T/A'ed out. Car has come a long way, since last reporting in, she's gotten a LT1/T56 swap already done and running beautifully, I fully rebuilt the motor myself, nothing serious, checking all clearances and regasketing everything. Also on top of that I went LS1 coils, running the LTCC kit. It smooths it out so much people don't even realize it's a v8 under the hood. I suppose the poly bushings help a little bit of that too.

Also as an upgrade and to try and balance out the chrome exhaust tips from my 3" front to back system that came from the LT1 swap, I got some 17"/18" chrome Y2K corvette rims, mint condition OEM set with center caps. Looking for someone with the plain chrome center caps if anyone has any that they'd like the originals. I would love to put a bird emblem on them to tie them back into my car. Send me yours and pay my shipping and you will get some mint OEM, original part numbers GM corvette center caps. I will post pictures up soon of all the upgrades before putting her up for winter. Next year this will be my toy :

May let the GF swap her car for this for the summer while I keep the fun to drive 350/6 speed on the road. I just need to get all the oober gay stickers and crap off of it. This way I'll have two cars to go down to the 4th of July weekend NYThirdgen car cruise with in 2011.

Anyone that likes rear axles and wants free beer, private message me, I'd like to learn how to set up a rear this winter, swapping in 410s with a LSD for the bird. It would be done in my heated basement so no worries on elements. I have the 88 service manual that describes everything and I know the jist, it's just like a class room, I know the book, just need to get my hands in there.

Hey there, sorry I didn't see this sooner, that looks like a great starting point!

Here is a couple updates to my car, lots of change from the beginning, and still a lot more to go!

Most of what left is little cosmetic adjustment, put some stuff back in that I haven't yet, and clean up the engine bay wiring and clean up my LS coils from my LTCC swapped LT1

First thing I noticed as well were those mirrors, cool idea...where are they from?

Also, any pics of the back end/better angle of the exhaust tips?

Re: one more saved from the junkyards...

I can take a look, what would you like a straight shot of the tail end? The mirrors are from a 93-02 Firebird, and wired right into power mirror harness and fully functional.

I actually got a set of the "GTA" molded door panels, which I have not seen with power mirrors for some reason, probably haven't looked at the right places. But anyways, I took the location of where the manual mirror joystick was in the door panel, and put in a electric joystick from I believe a pontiac mini-van with the grey head to match pontiacs color interior switches, and wired that in, so that it's in the door panel and looks completely factory, with the power window switches under the ashtray lid of the 4th gen (98-02) center console.
