New member new Iroc z
Ive always loved 3rd gens ever since my father bought a new 90 Pontiac Formula 350 WS-6 car, and Ive always wanted one since he messed up a few years ago and sold it before I could get it. I just recently picked up a pretty clean 1990 Iroc Z 5.7 car with about 150 thousand on the clock, of course the paint has scratches and imperfections, the front struts are shot and it needs and alignment and the front drivers seat is blown out lol, but I love it its cool af.
The only thing I would let this car go for or trade for is a 89/90 Formula 350 non t-top car, that's it. Starting in a month ish the Iroc gets struts, new exhaust, hopefully some new front seats if I can find some, and some misc stuff and it will never leave the family , im stoked man =)

Welcome aboard. The IROC looks great. A lot of used parts are available on line, but a seat will be a little pricy to ship. You might check your local junk yard, Craigslist etc.. If you don't mind the shipping, check eBay. Also call Hawk's, they have some good used seats from time to time.

Hearse,
If you click on "USER CP" at the top of the page then to "EDIT DETAILS" and fill in the last 4 questions it will show below your aviator. That's so at a glance we can see what your driving and that helps us with replies.
Thanks

Very nice car dude. Welcome to the boards have fun lol
If you have a little extra cash to spend you are not limited to just thirdgen seats all fourth gen seats are a direct fit... So if you run by a nice set a the junkyard or maybe even on CL dont pass em up...
Unless you plan on keeping her original..

Looks good, but I would ditch the bra and pint the headlight buckets semi-gloss black.

Re: New member new Iroc z
Welcome to the Thirdgen world. Very nice looking car. Your seat problem should be easy. That grey seems to be the most popular interior color. If I'm not mistaken, the only thing "power" on the seat is the base mount. I re upholstered mine myself. A non power seat should fit as long as you keep your power mount base. Good luck!

Re: New member new Iroc z
Thanks for the welcome! and thank you, Ive decided to keep the car and not trade it for a formula Ill just get a formula later on. So, I want to keep the interior all stock, Id ideally just like to find a replacement seat or get mine fixed, Ive been looking but so far no luck on a replacement..Im brainstorming warming up the engine either a rebuild or a 383 type thing. Still brainstorming on that one.
