new paint
almost have my 84 z28 painted...just shot the blue last night...today the stripes and clear are going on...will post pictures later on this afternoon or tomorrow

hahaa yeah i been taking pictures sorry i was excited... ill post them soon as i can get a card reader...but its all done..i have to buff it out tomorrow

Do you have to give the paint time to set up/cure for awhile before buffing. I know you cant wax it for a couple of weeks at least.

yeah i know...sorry about the pics...hopefully tomorrow lol i was just excited when i posted this ... um... got the heater cranked in the paint booth so hopefully thatll help speed up the drying...but i got fast hardening clear as well so... instead of a week or so... tomorrow afternoon it should be good... believe me..yall will be the first to see the finished product

sorry for the delay dudes... i been out of town... car is finished.. gonna start interior work this weekend... paint pictures will be up today

The longer you wait to cut and buff the harder the job gets as the clear will harden over time. Usually the next day (without the use of a heated booth) is good.
