Re: One Man's Story of His Refusal to Give up His Thirdgen
Here is a good pic of her seeing sunlight for the first time in 3 months.
Tomorrow, we are going to finish re-assembly (We installed the new weatherstrip today) and the only thing that leaves is the hood. It didn't turn out quite right in contrast to the rest of the car so we're re-doing it.
Stay tuned, guys. It's almost that time!

Hell, just get aluminum washer and coolant tanks and brake fluid reservoir and leave it off! It's so damn pretty under that hood, anyway! I think you need hood mirrors for when you take it to shows....

Everyone is probably wondering on the final verdict. Well, minus the side mirrors and the front grille insert being completed, here she is.
The fitment on that cowl hood was so terrible I had to sell it and pick up a different one. Luckily a member of TGO who lives right up the street from me had a 3" cervini he sold me.
I think I am going to make one small change of getting another set of front marker lights and blacking them out. The red ones aren't flowing like I thought. It almost looks like the car is blushing.

When you get it lowered and take the bowties off the rocker panel and then dump $15,000 into the drivetrain, you'll have a good shot.
As soon as you get those drop springs in there you'll have the looks finished. Sometimes I wish I had done that first. But mostly I just wish I had $25k to dump into the car.
