Some new pics of my 92!

I decided to wash her again today as i constantly keep getting the entire back end of my car covered in a coat of dirt. It's annoying! Why!

Well I washed her then I took some pics...what do you think?

Re: Some new pics of my 92!

White and black cars are quite harsh in showing you whether or not you did a good job cleaning the car

Still, your car looks fairly clean from what can be seen from these pictures.

As for showing thread or not showing thread in a picture, I think rules of thumb are dumbing down photography. Showing off thread can give the car a nice aggressive stance (need to change perspective a bit for such a picture) so saying it´s a no-go would not do for me.

I generally dislike pictures where the wheels are turned in to show off te rim. In cartoons I also generally end up showing thread and just a fine slice of the wheel to give the illustration a more aggressive look.

My Camaro is black and I really suffer tree pollen (in combination with the garage being too small). Washed the car three times this month, waxed just as often and two days after it looks matte yellow rather then shiny black.

PS: your drivers side front fender could use a little adjustment. The lower half seems to not sit entirely flush with the rest of the bodylines on the drivers side.

Thanks guys and yeah, she does not look as good as she could, but there isn't much I can do unless I clean her every day.

I know about the fenders, I have to look at that.

Re: Some new pics of my 92!

it looks good but i agree with the drivers side fender... may just need a spacer at the bottom where it bolts up. Also i noticed the passenger side door looks like its gotta wave in it. All in all she's a pretty good looking ride. Little body work here and there and new paint and she will look smoking ... good job bro! how's she run?

Re: Some new pics of my 92!

She runs great! She has an annoying rattle thought when I give her gas under load. Is it a normal thing?

And she does need some body work, but i'm not too worried about it. I'm trying to find another camaro with a more solid body to really start the project on.

Your camaro looks quite good, apart from some minor body issues. I would not see those few little things as a big issue untill the car is finished. Plenty of time to get that sorted out.

My driver side door is so wavy that I would not know where to start straightening it because I just don't know what part is the straight one. My passenger door has a dent in it. That so far is the only optical mod I did to my car, and I only did it by accident (hit a bus).

Still, I consider those minor issues that can be taken care of after the project part of the car is done.

As for the rattle, can be caused by many things, but having something rattling around appears to be normal for these cars. I haven't seen one so far without rattles.

One favorite source of rattles and squeeks comes from the doors. There is a sticky on those somewhere over in the body sub-forum I think.
