Found some 5th gen brakes with only 4000 miles for $250 ima pick them up tommorow and have brakes for both my cars

Well i had to buy a different camera here are some better pics
rear caliper on top and front in the bottom ^^^
comparison from the 5th gen ss brakes and cts v with z06 rotors
also bought myself a HPVL gun to learn how to paint first ima paint my dads van then ima try painting my z28 myself
(Ignore the mess in my room lol)

Well alot of people aren't going to give you direct answers.lol Have u looked at the brake forum? Theres alot of info on there. When bought my kit everything was assembled greased etc ready to bolt in and bleed. You need machined hubs, longer studs, caliper brackets,modify the spindles cut ears re tap the threads, hardware *high grade bolts, and
custom lines for that specific caliper.. After looking at the kits they are not that hard to assemble
The rear brembos look good I've seen different Alternatives for the e brake but I'll rather wait when I upgrade my differential

Haha yeah i know that its because ive read that i have to bore the center hole bigger too thats why and well ima measure tommorow the inside of the rotor to see if i can just machine my stock rotors into hubs. Yeah you got it easy that way but i didnt have the money to buy something all assembled so im peacing it together lil by lil; and yeah i seen the rears on someone on this forum cant wait till i have mine on and to see your car also lol

Iirc the 5th gen rotors do have to be bored out but not the c6z rotors . The ctsv and the c6 z rotors appearto be an easier install

Thanks, im going for that stock sleeper look. Plans are for an LS swap & a Borg Warner 6 speed. Probably use a turbo set up. My plates will say "ZZZZZZ" like its sleeping......

Nice i would like the sleeper look too but im using the big brakes so i cant use stock wheels . Also that would be a bad *** setup im hoping i can get a ls1 in both my cars as well

Yeah these are gonna look new once i clean them. That spoiler is rite there waiting for the primer this weekend ima start the painting finally .
Yeah i saved up about 3400 and bought lots of goodies im at 2000 rite now so ima stop on buying parts and save up some more to get a ls3 or better ls7
