Black Cherry 84 Z28 Finally.. Sort of

So it's been almost two years since I started this project and now that it's painted and I felt it was done Murphy's Law stepped in to kick me in the junk... Put 100 miles on it since paint had to pull trans and cam two completely seperate problems found at same time, but I think she looks good...

Thanks for all the kind words, the color is Mazda's Black Cherry Mica, the louvers are the stock plastic louvers painted with a mix of gold and rootbeer pearls, sprayed over shelf liner to get the Carbon Fiber effect. Wheels are now a Gunmetalish silver color, and I still have to put the new emblems on.

Yes I do have halo's, I bought the Option Racing kit from Ebay, They're really not that hard to install. And I will try to get a couple more pics up from different angles, it may take a couple days tho, the transmission it sitting on my garage floor, gonna try to finish rebuilding it today.

Thanks, I couldn't bring myself to change the GFX, The only thing I wish was that I had lowered the car it seems to sit a bit high, but any lower and I'd hit every driveway instead of just the crazy ones. Maybe I'll try and make a set of GFX, that look identical to stock just longer...

Re: Black Cherry 84 Z28 Finally.. Sort of

Yeah, I know a lot of people like to lower these cars, but the 82-84 z at stock height looks more "musclecarish" to me. However, to each his own...
