How's it going everyone. My names Bryan, 19 years old and from Long Island.
I recently picked up an 83 camaro with a 327 swap in it play around with and learn as much as possible. My father and I are going to slowly be painting the car as it progress'. I just don't know what the color code is to have the paint mixed and it is too faded to get a good sample. I've looked all over the web and now im coming to ask your help.

If it's still in the car, there should be an RPO sticker (list of options on the car) in the console, or inside the cover of the storage box in the rear driver side. On the very bottom, you can find the paint color code.

Mine reads BCCC WA- L8774 U8774 19C

The L and U numbers are the paint code (lower and upper for two-tone possibility) 8774 is Bright Red

Other than that, check out this page. The site is for ordering touch up paint. Input your year and make, and will list all the colors for that year.

Go figure, the one paper thats not still in the car. Also the one that's not on the 'paintscratch' site. Looks like I have more research to do. Thanks for the help.
