My 91 getting some new paint - **FRESH OUT OF PAINT SHOP PICS**
Decided to finally send my car off to get some new paint. The paint that I had was in pretty good shape but I didn't like the fact that I couldn't get it to shine. So after debating on which way to go (motor or paint) I decided to get the car repainted. I'm looking into going with LeMans Blue off the 07 Corvette. I dropped off the car in February and I hope to pick it up in about 2 weeks. Here are some before, during and (coming soon) after pics. Let me know what you guys think.

Sweet.
What color are you going with? Why is the metal around the windshield also masked off? Painting it a different color?

Re: My 91 getting some new paint
Going with LeMans Blue or Luxo Blue (for some reason they have the same pait code). As for the glass area, I hadn't noticed it was masked off Its actually going to be the same color as the rest of the car. I honestly can't wait to get my car back and throw my wheels on and take it out to some local shows. I'll keep you guys posted as I get more pics.

Damn man, you must have some money to burn because the paint job in the pictures above looks damn nice as is.
I like your choice of the new color.

The place that you dropped the car off to be painted...is that a friend of yours? Just curious because that looks like a small shop or a house?

I would agree with the other comments that your paint didn't look too bad before. The new paint is a great choice and I'm looking forward to seeing the final results.

A couple of pics that I snapped yesterday. Fenders, bumpers, side skirts should be getting some paint today. I'll post some pics as I'm able to get them.

Re: My 91 getting some new paint
IT'S BACK!!!! Well, after a few months of anxiously waiting, I finally got my car back yesterday. I quickly got home and threw on my wheels so that I could snap some pics and get a good look as to how the final product was going to look like. I'm very happy with the final results. I ended up going with Daytona Blue Pearl Metallic as the color. During the process I decided to ditch the door moulding and give it that clean look. I still need to get some new Z28 emblems and a new Camaro emblem. I also need to throw on some new tint and weatherstripping. Still have lots of work to do, but at least I'm able to see the car on a daily basis Enjoy the pics and let me know what you guys think. **pics were taken with my Iphone, so quality isn't the greatest.
