BMW "IROC look-alike" wheels on a Camaro

Cool..! For the longest time I had been thinking of trying out the BMW M6 wheels off my daily driver beamer on the Camaro as I thought it might look cool. They kinda look like an "updated" IROC wheel where the single line is actually a slot.
And what do ya' know - today I came across a pic of another norwegian red ragtop with those exact wheels on it I thought they came out real nice! These are 19x8.5 and 19x10 like mine.

Well, I may just have to try mine on as well in the spring before putting them back on the beamer for the summer!
BTW, the Camaro is already sitting on another set of BMW wheels in storage now to keep the Boze's all purty
The wheels it is sitting on now is Rondel D58 like these

Those are the exact same wheels I'm ordering in the UK (the GBP is low so it's cheaper to shop there) They are available in Jag bolt pattern too, and that is 5 on 4.75 so they fit perfectly.

Re: BMW "IROC look-alike" wheels on a Camaro

19 is just too big as far as im concerned. i like to see lots of rubber and not just a lot of spokes. i prefer old school wheels like American Mag - now racing - have. i want to see big tires, a deep dish, not flat, and short spokes.

I've actually thought the same thing about those rims. They DO look very Iroc-ish!

....but I think 19 is too big. Not enough tire.

Re: BMW "IROC look-alike" wheels on a Camaro

I´ve been looking for a set of BMW rims as well. Rather something in 17" however. I agree, 19" is too much rim for these cars IMO.

Just looked in Ebay. Found a set of 17" x 8" in the exact same design for $250. That´s quite tempting actually.

Re: BMW "IROC look-alike" wheels on a Camaro

Yes, like said in other threads, they do fit. ET 20-25 would be spot on, they are 5 and 7 series. 1,3 and other models using ETs around 35 will fit up to 8 or 8.5 in front and wider in the rear but give a tucked look. The ET20s would be better.

18s ET35

19s ET20 (8.5 wide front)

Re: BMW "IROC look-alike" wheels on a Camaro

I don't use spacers on any of my cars, the gray has ET 35 18s the red one has ET20 19s. No spacers, just hubcentric rings

They look a lot like the newer style Corvette C6 wheels.

Did the dust cap on the front hub interfere with the center cap?

I'm using these BMW wheels but my center caps don't fit. What did you guys do?

I have a question for Twin_Turbo or anyone with 18x8 wheels in the front and 18X9 wheels in the back. What size tires are you using?
