Re: Check out my 84 Camaro!!!
he got 5.0 . it's not very powerful one but it would be easier to swap to bigger motor later that with v6. The car looks clean, i like the way early sc look. Lower a bit and it's perfect

Re: Check out my 84 Camaro!!!
For all you creeps saying his car is ugly and stuff, STFU. I Think its sweet. I like Sport Coupes. If you like the ground effex get a z28, If you dont like the ground effex get a Sport Coupe, No need for gfx on a Sport Coupe. And I dont think you over paid a penny, Looks like a straight solid nice car. Thats not a rusty floor board btw, it the rear end, thats usual. The rims look Fine. Yes PERSONALY I do like gfx, thats why I have a iroc, But I like the sport coupes for being sport coupes, with no gfx.
Again nice car, have fun with it.

Re: Check out my 84 Camaro!!!
I thought I'd update with some pics of my car before and after I washed it.
This is what driving down to a lacrosse field every day does.
Much better!
And because my stereo doesnt work...lol

Re: Check out my 84 Camaro!!!
I can only dream of my 84 being that clean. I wash it to keep the dust off and everyone ridicules me for it. lol But, I don't mind the baby riding or eating in it. It'll stay a ugly beater until the kids are grown. I may fix it up more then, but I doubt it.

HAHA the cars not ghetto at all but your stereo is!!!, well except for the Zune. But in my opinion i like the sport coupes, they just sit up to high, but you can find some IROC springs around this forum for cheap.
VERY nice S/C though.

Re: Check out my 84 Camaro!!!
the car looks good! to clear up just a little bit of mis-information in this thread about the s10 wheels:
the s10 wheels have a slightly different offset than the 91-92 16" wheels found on camaros. they're somewhere between the offset from the front and rear and are not corner specific like camaro wheels. also, if i remember correctly, the center caps are not interchangable, something about the difference in the way they mount...one has a smaller clasp than the other.
the car does need to come out of the air a little, but the sportcoupes have a killer look once the stance is tackled. here's an idea of what the car might look like if you lowered the car:

Re: Check out my 84 Camaro!!!
As you can see here, the first pic is the OP's picture from the first page, and the picture of my 84 from the first page. The cars are on similar angles and you can see the his front tires protrude out of the wheel wells more than mine. I know for a fact mine are the Z28 wheels. And having built a V-8 S-10 and used Camaro wheels on it, I know that the Camaro wheels had the wheel weights rubbed off them by the tie rods on my S-10 because they have more back spacing.
Also, Louis, my car has the Eibach (sport line I believe, it's been a few years) lowering coils on it. You can see about how your car will stand with them. I love the stance it gave my car and with the Monroe Sensa-Trac shocks on it, it rides and handles like a dream. I may move up to some adjustable shocks in the future to tune the ride when I add some tubular control arms and torque arm, but with the stamped stuff, it does fine.
