final pictures of the 86 Z i built velocity yellow!
i dont know if i ever posted final pictures of this car. it is a 86 Z28. 305 tpi. i drove it everyday for the 3 months before i sold it. i enjoyed the build and had a blast driving it, it got looks everywhere it went. this was a factory 4 wheel disc car, with power windows, door locks, and hatch. it was originally white with gold gfx and tan interior. i had it painted 06 corvette yellow which is velocity yellow. and i redid the interior two toned. i painted all the plastics black and left all of the upholstery tan. i redid the tpi and painted it all a grey color with a black plenum. btw the car supposedly had 36,000 original miles. i pulled it out of a field where it sat for about ten years.
what you think?
----------
couple more pics
it turned out really nice, and the new owner in michigan is happy with it. he is having a little issue with the car wanting to stall at idle but i am thinking it is probably just the change in altitude and hopefully a quick fix. i never had a problem with it down here, but GA and MI are totally different.

Mr. Money bags...
IROC was nice but not my choice of color. Same goes for the vette. The '95 minus the rims was cool along with each of the '69s

I've been thinking about going with yellow for my GTA...Did you repaint the under hood as well? Or is it still white?

Re: final pictures of the 86 Z i built velocity yellow!
i wasnt crazy about the color on the vette but it has grown on me ALOT i get compliments on it all the time, and that is a 67 camaro RS btw not 69... i wish it was a 69 but sadly no its not.
----------
i did not paint under the hood, way too much time and effort and thanks. you should go for it, the yellow stood out trememdously. it was a huge selling point for the car i think.

My bad.
I posted that at like 5:30am after work
Still nice though! Even if I had the money for all of those cars, I doubt I'd buy them all. Too many roosters in the hen house so to speak.

The 86 Iroc-z looks just like my dads 86 iroc-z. his has the same color interior and is a 305 tpi with 42k miles on it. nice beautiful cars.

IROCs nice...personal prefrence is for black headlight buckets and decals...the chrome wheels looks good though.
What are your plans for the 69 Firebird? TA clone?

thanks, ya i like black headlight buckets, but it is easier to paint them yellow. everyone tells me i should ta clone it. i dont really want to though i dont like white and i dont like those little blue stripes. i am pretty set on huggar orange, but red is an option also.

thanks brisk.
ya idk i kinda want to do a one color paint job because i really dont like the little skinny stripes they look goofy to me but i might do a transam clone because everyone likes those so it will sell better. it has a little straight six in it right now LOL. does anyone know of any good looking stripe jobs or custom kind of paint on a 69? i am thinking it is going to be just plain huggar orange but its not set in stone yet.

Re: final pictures of the 86 Z i built velocity yellow!
For the 69, do the single WIDE stripe that was popular on them back then.
I'm kinda thinking a single wide on my 87 GTA would look good, if I do the colors right.

wow, awesome collection... I seem to think by the time I'm 19 I wont have you beat (I'll still try though lol). as for the paint on the 69 Firebird I'd go red, I can't picture it in hugger orange, but then again Im a little biased.

my grandad sells them and i help him install them, let me know if you are interested in one. we can get you a two post also or motorcycle, all kinds. these are all american made not cheap chinese metal like most companies now. why put a collector car ontop of a another collector car using cheap chinese garbage? i still dont understand that. lol but the company name is superior if you are interested.

If you really like the C4s, you need to find a collector's edition. Is the blue 94 a manual?

Nice looking cars there Ga. brother! I was wondering are you painting the cars yourself or farming it out? I had a '87 Z-28 when I was in high school and I still have like these and have been thinking about getting another one. Right now al my rides are Fords except for my wifes LTZ 'burb. How much are the lifts going for with install? Take it easy! Oh yeah I'm down in Moultrie,Ga.
