yes they are from ebay... i wanted like a chrome billet emblem but nothing was offerent these look better than factory and they were cheap so i bought em untill i can find the ones i want or get some made.. they dont fit "great" but they get the job done for the price....

CYARS92 i know man! i wanted to move them down to the left a little more b/c of the pole but i figured taking that wide of a picture it would have been impossible to keep it out of the picture... o well i like them first time @ this place so we'll mess around with them a little more the next time.

sean i appreciate it!

2tonedmaro89 kodak easy share z612 i love it! i got a video of the burnout with it also!

pairtoe87, 89N10GTA, and 92RS(real slow) they arent comparable really... i have alot more work into mine than his. mine still isnt running right by anymeans but i eat his lunch any way we race. we did a 15-80 roll and i had him by about 5 cars... mines a modded 350 with xe268 cam, almost factory heads, and a holley street dominator and 650 dp. his is a pretty much factory forged and roller 302 with 9 mm plug wires cold air intake and shorties and duals. both are t-5's!!! i finally changed mine over from auto to manual and completely love it! his mustang will run 14.9's i havent got any numbers on mine yet but i think it is a low 14 second car right now, i have done zero tuning and it needs it bad i could pull a good bit more out of it. plus when i open up the cutout that helps a little and im about to put a 100 shot of nitrous on it this weekend or next hopefully.

we both ran last week. my car ran a 14.2 at 101 mph. he ran a 14.9 at 92 or 93mph. i havent "learned" how to launch my car yet with the five speed. i had major problems at first so i only got two good runs in. the fastest run was the 14.2 and that was a 2.4 60ft time... i launched it spun so i let out it bogged and then i got back in it. im going to pull the front sway bar and do some adjusting to the fuel pressure and adjust the fuel bowls a little bit and hopefully i can squeeze out a 13.8 thats my goal on street tires. no spray as of yet, its hooked up im just not ready to go ***** to the wall just yet.

Re: maroon88iroc and black89_GT photoshoot NICE!

I kept looking back and forth on your photo's trying to identify why your IROC stands out so well (beside's color choice). I kept coming back to the way your front air dam(n) area's extra details.

Did you completely remove the fog lights? and the front turn signals look like they're really high quality units. Care to share who the clear lens's manufacturer is??? And if you removed the factory fog lights, are you putting something more modern in those areas???
Thanks, Nitro

the car stands out because of the "widemout mod" and removed foglights... it makes the grill apear alot larger than it is... i am the only person that i know of in the states that has it. i did it a LONG time ago even before the car was repainted and ive always loved it.

Re: maroon88iroc and black89_GT photoshoot NICE!

Widemouth mod? Hmm. Can't tell from these pics, but did you take out the factory grill piece and just fill the holes and paint it to match what the grill would look like? Also looks like you painted/molded the chin spoiler to make it look better as well.

Damn. I was set on my gold/maroon combo, with replacing the front turns with the amber units, amber sidemarkers, gold logos, and the gold/polished aluminum IROC's, with the gold striping kit, but now I just don't know. Silver and maroon do look pretty good, but I don't think I could do it without chrome wheels, and I personally am not a large fan of chrome. At least on these cars. :P

no there is a grill in there it is just gloss black. the camaro i pinstriped the same color as the car and cleared the hell out of it. also notice the black that comes down on the chin spoiler. that is the widemouth mod. i have some mesh black inserts that go behind the grill that should darker it up a little bit and that should help the look.

They look like all glass units with black edge molding???? Not the usual partial plastic ones that are normally marketed on Ebay. did you find your headlights on Ebay also???? I just bought the H4 harness so I can put real headlights on my IROC..... Nitro

they are not all glass. they are plastic with black trim surrounding. the headlights are from ebay also. get the 4x6 universal h4 headlights they are alot cheaper and those are the ones i got. i have yet to install my h4 harness but i am using my factory harness with the h4's for the time being.

Re: maroon88iroc and black89_GT photoshoot NICE!

Hmm, I got the H4 housings and made a harness to mock up one of them to see how bright it would be. Using a Sylvania Silverstar I found that low beam was in fact DIMMER than the stock sealed beam headlights, and this was running right off of the battery. No voltage loss over bad wiring or anything. On bright though, damn. That was a bright bulb. I mean, I had the other three headlights on, and it was brighter than the three of them put together.

But again, my others were just standard sylvanias. Not even the Ultra series. Might try buying some silverstar sealed beams.

im going to be going with hid's eventually so i probably wont even bother throwing the harness in i dont drive it enough at night to need bright headlights.

lol. Hey is this better? I took out the pole and the reflection of the pole on the T-Top. I also took out the leak tracks from the Stang. The dried up blob was on the bottom left. Also those "sandy" looking spots thats at the begining of the Stangs leak.

Hope you like!!
