Anyone try these -AN adapter fittings?
I just picked up a 4th gen tank last weekend and I am going to be doing all -AN lines so I have been researching adapter fittings. I saw the push on style and I was going to go with those but after doing some research I had heard of them popping off under load so I was going to go with the "swadge" lock fittings when I came across these. Almost the same as the push on style but they have a threaded nut to keep them from coming off. Just curious if anyone else had seen them, heard anything or used them for their swap.

The ones you showed screw together & will not come apart without tools.
They are re-usable & work very well. They are an update to the push on style.

I run AN for fuel system. For fuel line to rail, and all trans. cooler lines I run Jiffy Tite fittings. Black nylon AN line (easier to bend and rout), No issues.

post # 9 for part numbers, these numbers are for the blue/red fittings, numbers will be different for different colored fittings eg. black. The diagram shows a straight fitting going into fuel rail, from personal experience a 90* fitting works best. For the fourth gen sender iirc (been a few years, someone correct me if i'm wrong) uses the same adapters as the rail.

I used the Russell fittings with the plastic clips inside them like the oem, salesman for summit told me they have had a few of those types that you are referring to get returned for that "lock" coming loose.

I've had the Russell fittings with the nylon lock on the Camaro for almost 3 years, no problems. But, as I related in another thread, my son's S10 Blazer LS swap had one pop off the Vette filter at the track (luckily on the return road, not going down the track). He put it back together and hasn't had any problem since.
I saw one like the OP linked and got it for the fuel rail for the stroked LQ4 going in my '57. I haven't run it yet, but I also liked the look of it. Unless the connection is to a factory quick disconnect (like the Vette filter), I'm using AN flared fittings. In hindsight, I suppose the fuel rail could be flared as well, eliminating not only the potential for the fitting to come off, but also eliminate the small opening the male end typically has.
