a few wiring ?s

I am using the holley hp ecu in my swap and the harness has a provision for the fuel pump and my first question is there are 3 wires coming from the connector behind the rear seat 1 is pink 1 is black 1 is tan with a white stripe. I assume pink is power to pump black is ground and tan is for the guage is this correct my haynes manual isnt very helpful on this? Second ? is on my stock 3rd gen rad there is a spade terminal on the pass side what is this for could i use this to turn my fans on? Since the holley set up has its own harness i have stripped my factory harness to just power and starter and need to find a way to switch on my fans.

Re: a few wiring ?s

The spade terminal on the radiator tank is for a low coolant level sensor, this will not activate your cooling fans. If the holly ECM doesn't have capabilities to control your fans, you can get one of the cheaper fan relay kits at advance, autozone, ect., with a probe that fits into the radiator cores.

Another option is to get the temp switches that thread into a water jacket in the block or head. I think hypertech makes a couple different ones with different turn-off/turn-on temps. You could use these switches to trigger cooling fan relays.

The Holley ECU will control the fans.

Another option, stand alone progressive fan controller

Re: a few wiring ?s

I know the holley ecu will controll the fuel pump but i havnt found that it will controll the fans with the harness i bought but im still trying to figure things out. The thread you refered to says ppl wire is power to pump but mine is pink? its a 88 trans am i was just gonna wire in a relay to power th pump of the ign wire off of the c100 instead of letting the ecu controll it
