These videos are great. I had a big grin on my face watching every single one. Here is mine after a few startups. I was still working out the bugs. No track time this summer, hopefully next! Keep up the good work guys!!

That's a quick car, Pocket. Any more and you're going to burn up the poor speedo. LOL!

Re: lets see some vids of your lsx/ltx swaps....
Here's a really lousy quality video of a lousy pass!
My uncle was driving and lifted early, coasted to a 12.46@99. I've since installed the 4.30's and wow what a difference. I expect 11.80's (given my 7.62 1/8th ET) next time I hit the quarter...still haven't even pulled a valve cover, just bolt-ons.

Not yet. My engine is on a stand in the garage. I didn't do anything with it all summer. Probably going to tinker with it again now that weather is turning cold. Good indoor activity.

Re: lets see some vids of your lsx/ltx swaps....
here is a couple of my LT1.
first ones are a dang near stock longblock LT1. it had a 230/236 cam, rockers, and i had mildly ported the heads. stock crank, stock rods, stock pistons. i was running an oddball nitrous jetting since the fuel side was tapped into the rail. i think it was around a 135 shot.

http://www.streetfire.net/video/gta-vs-supra_161984.htm
i later put a set of 275 goodyear radials on it and spent most of my passes therafter trying to get the car to leave on them. this vid is of a decent pass i made with a 150 shot right off the transbrake. same stock shortblock, but the heads were now nicely cnc ported and the cam was now a 236/248. this was a 6.0x @ around 113ish iirc. 1.30 60'. pay no mind to the overly lean idle and loose alternator belt. lol

I'm buying it. Nothing unusual about 11 lbs giving awesome top end pull. Worst case scenario, imho, he was fighting for traction.

Re: lets see some vids of your lsx/ltx swaps....
Pockets vid. is prob. breaking the tires loose when the go pedal is dropped.
watch how fast it revs as the speedo climbs. very quick upto 6500k rpm then starts to just accelerate.
Ive done similar.(383lt1 with a novi2000 supercharger) Not as extream upto 140 but at a 30mph roll if Id hammer it would downshift ,break loose. Im sure thats why I killed another pos 700r4 lol.
Some nice *** cars in here. Im hoping to finish up my new turbo setup and get some good gopro videos.

Yea from what i recall when Pocket had that build going..the charger heatsoaked pretty good.there were some issues but it made good bottom/midrange tq figures..not high hp.Video looks like some good wheel spin and fun..dont think it quite hit 145mph..Id guess maybe 135 before letting out.

I think this setup is different than the 5.3 that he originally put the whipple on in the green bird.

Re: lets see some vids of your lsx/ltx swaps....
I'm really not trying to be a jerk but re-check the vid and don't be afraid to pause it at about the 2.5 second mark where the speedo ( reading 37 mph) and tach (1,100 rpm) start climbing. My guess is he hit about 129 or 130 at around the 11.5 second mark. Given the amount of wheelspin that is evident for the entirety of 2nd gear, I don't see how it isn't possible. That's much nearer to 9 seconds of full throttle and tire smoke out of a 6 liter boosted by 11 lbs. Give my LS1 11 lbs and if it didn't explode I imagine it would 0 - 130 8 seconds or less. Remember, he wasn't starting at 0, neither was he hooked up.
I think this setup is different than the 5.3 that he originally put the whipple on in the green bird.
