finally dyno'd my 91z
well met up with a buddy last night and he said there was goin to be a dyno day for this mustang club he hangs out with. he said they were real chill guys and wouldnt mind so i went. ran my car twice and got exactly the numbers i was expecting. ive been tuning it myself with hptuners and surprised how close i got it. it was funny cause they were all about to leave and then i pulled my car up and they all stayed.
car is 1991 z28
2001 5.3l
2001 4l60e stock stall
3:23 gears
ls1 intake
2002 ls1 cam
28lb injectors

Pretty decent numbers going through the auto. What is your exhaust set up? You have headers or no?

over 300rwtq..nice.That 5.3 is putting in work for what it is.Hp is down so Im assuming your not using longtube headers etc..just a basic exhaust.Got any vids of it?

your y pipe looks just like mine but I did dual 2.5 high flow cats right after each manifold and merged it into my 3" pipe.It tucks up a lil better this way since the cats are beside the trans,I dont scrape speed bumps unless Im going too fast over steep bumps.

Not bad numbers at all! You still have room to grow with a LS6 intake, UD pulley, p&p tb, etc.
Keep up the good work

This is my half a$$ed dual catted y pipe. They are magnaflow high flow cats, wish i had a pic when they were on the car.Im going to have a new pipe made up with the cats for a smoother transition and see if i can tuck the passenger side cat up maybe a 1/4 inch so it wont scrape anymore.

Re: finally dyno'd my 91z
not bad numbers. get the A/F ratios a bit richer and you should pick up some power. typically, 12.7:1 is ideal. but for the newer stuff, it may be different.
