Re: Swap Mounts
Everyone I have seen use them have liked them. I personally used som $30 ebay 1" setback plates and standard sbc mounts. Cheaper and does the same exact thing.

the 1" plates and hawk/spohn swap mounts are one of the few dead-on, no issue parts of the LSx swap. its everything else that needs work

Re: Swap Mounts
I used the set back plates as well and welded solid mounts the k-member and used stock SBC mounts. Everything lined up and dropped in. never even had the passenger coil even come close to the heater box at all. I didnt even have to notch the k member at all and ended up hitting the inside with a ball peen hammer after I flattened the welds and everything cleared good

Had a bit of an issue getting the last long bolt through the mount. Didn't matter which side I put in first, it was fine. The 2nd one required some "persuading".

Re: Swap Mounts
To 6Six6 which 1inch plates and sbc mount did you use. I know a shop that makes mount for 3rd gen ls swap in u don't have 2 notch the k member and their using truck accessories but I'm not trying 2 pay 150 for mounts
