Re: engine sitting crooked after swap
it could be that the xmember is bent, or maybe the motor mount on that side just sits lower. is there any adjustment in the motor mounts?

Why do you think the K member could be bent? Do you know of something bad that happened to it?
It's not unusual for Spohn to make things poorly. It doesn't have to be "damaged" to be that way. You need to determine if it was made that way from the beginning or damaged at a later time. Big difference on your options out.

Deffinately sitting lower on one side.....I would get in contact with Spohn. From what i have seen they have had ALOT of issues with this and they are aware of it. Last one i saw i think they sent them a new one....

Old cars are seldom "true" so dont be so quick to blame Spohn. I'd just shim under the mount plate to taste and go.

Is the K Member new or used?? The last motor in the car was it in that K Member at all? Ive never seen a motor that off before and this is another reason I kept the stock k member in the car with my swap.

Re: engine sitting crooked after swap
I had the same issue with my car
I shimmed the mount from the block and it sat level
fast forward 2 or 3 yrs, and I swapped to a tubular k-member and new motor mounts
Had to remove the spacers to get the mounts lined up....
so perhaps your motor mounts are just shot.....

Re: engine sitting crooked after swap
I had the same problem with my Spohn K-Member only mine was off by only about .3inches. Try loosening the bolts on the engine side of the mount and the K-member side of the mount and re-adjusting it all(I doubt you can get 1.5in difference that way but you may make it a little better). I was able to make mine slightly better by doing that but it was still off. I'm using solid mounts so I did some fabrication to the passenger side mount to raise it up a little to make it level.

Re: engine sitting crooked after swap
Very tough to tell by that picture...I had issues with my motor looking crooked from the front of the car, but my car had a salvage title . It was my core support being higher on one side from a collision.
