first test drive after ls longtubes
I had a pretty bad rasp with the manifolds and after seeing countless longtube installs on ls1tech ending with unbearable rasp I was planning for the worst. well Im surprised and glade its gone guess my merge I made worked very well

So what is your whole set up now? I have LT's, a custom merge, and magnaflow. The ypipe flows about as smooth as you can get, and the merge is a flowmaster 2.5-3. So it should be pretty decent too. But I still get more rasp than I like. Was thinking about fighting it with some high flow cats someday.

Manifolds...i have a pile of those, never used them. Rasp wise, my RS has 1 chambers, so you can imagine it is load, but it is deep, but the 86 TA with the 3 inch into a 3 inch Y with shortys has the bullet muffler and only really has raspieness at a given rpm slightly accelerating:

its the hawks knock off long tubes and then its 3" SS mandrel bends to make up my y-pipe and I made my own merge and then the rest is the old slp catback 2 on the left
the only real difference is I went from the cast manifolds and changed the way I had the two pipes merge.

Define rasp?
I dig the sound my car has with the manifolds, 2 1/2" Ypipe, flowmaster merge into SLP 2OTL catback.
