Axle/Gears: 9 bolt disc brake 2.77
ls1 wiring harness

ok so im looking to swap to an ls1 from my lo3 and was looking arond an saw that the wiring harness had to be moded and that hawks sells one for 995.00 but i was wondering if its posible to mod the harness my self?

I've done 2 swaps and did both harnesses myself. May have be quicker having Hawks or Pocket do the harness for me, but I'm cheaper than either...

Oh, and a 3rd is in the works (just not a 3rd gen this time). I'll be doing that harness as well.

looking to get more practice myself - seen a few s10 harnesses on ebay for about $75, not a bad price. really wanna do something up in techflex......

Agreed, save yourself a ton of money and gain some invaluable experience.

Take it one step at a time. Label the each connector and work your way from there. Once you understand what goes where and if you need it or not, it becomes a lot easier.

Also read any post with Pocket in it
