removed all unneeded wires, rerouted wiring and wrapped in felt tape to reduce noise of wires behind dash, its amazing how much excess wiring is behind these dashes especially when your doing one of these swaps

latest underhood pic, I have driven it lately but haven't gotten in the gas too hard as the torque arm is temp installed its running great! so happy I did this swap! the cruise control works well with the DBW, speedometer works no tach though.

did you get the factory tach working yet? what ecm are you running? i have mine working but found how inaccurate it was compared to my autometer.it would also periodically drop to zero at high rpms at wot and then read again when i let off the gas.

I have not had time to figure out the tach yet out of town working, I think I just wired into the wrong wire in the dash I've been told you need the computer signal changed from 4 cyl output to 8 cyl output though. I am using the factory 2003 2500 Hd truck computer.

Yes it has to be calibrated in the tune for proper tach output.I cant remember the exact numbers you need to set the tach output to but its posted somewhere in the forums.

Stay tuned the next stage of this build is coming when I get home from 86 days of work , unbalanced engineering torque arm install (race version) , Be Cool fans , Holley LS A/C bracket , high output fuel pump (Granatelli), adjustable rear control arms , performance alignment , Loom wire harness , roll bar install for torque arm mounting and safety. Will be busy during Nov/Dec
