Alternative oil pan?

I was messing around looking for parts for my swap and came across this. Sorry if this has been covered but didn't see any threads when I searched.

Seems like it may be a possible fit? I dont have my motor on hand to measure but I will do so tomorrow. Just in case my welded up pan ends up leaking this looks like a good substitute.

Re: Alternative oil pan?

thats the H3 pan iirc; hangs below the kmember, nothing something I'd perfer myself. Really wish there were better options for us out there, but fbody pan's really the best and safest way to go for a stock piece

Re: Alternative oil pan?

most aftermarket sbc pans hang down that low easily as well. Moroso 7 quart for our chassis did on my old motor for instance

How often does this come up, about every 3 weeks? Every month, maybe?

At any rate, it's been discussed over and over.

Re: Alternative oil pan?

Sorry Five7 but I searched for it and didn't really get anything but peoples build threads.

That sucks, it hangs 2 1/2in lower than the fbody oil pan.
