anyone have a procahrger on an LSX swap 3rd gen?
Im going through the LSx swap in my car, already have a D1SC procharger and would rather keep it and run it on the LSx vs. sell it or trade for a roots style.
I have searched the board, done the google image search, but i am lacking info on which bracket to run. the 4th gen bracket isnt going to work, so i was thinking of running a truck bracket, something off the passenger side, like the trailblazer SS kit from houseofboost.com has.
all of the pipe and intercooler is going to be custom made, so im not looking for a complete kit to work, just a mounting bracket....
Anyone running a procharger on an LS swap? would love to see pictures or hear some advice!

just buy the aftermarket bracket for the lsx setup from procharger. That is what i am going to do. use there universal procharger bracket. U will need a couple more things that requires moving the power steering and the alternator that procharger sells. Ya i am just planning to use all the same piping i currently have. At least the universal procharger bracket has a better tensioner.

do you have any images of the universal bracket? I didnt even know they offered one!
I called houseofboost.com and they are going to get back to me on the trailblazer ss mounting bracket. little to no modification required to the existing brackets.

Here is mine. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/ltx-...-shootout.html

The universal bracket will NOT clear the firebirds. Might barely clear on the Camaro but might hit the hood/inner fender as well. I actually have one and a GTO one I tried in my garage, no luck.
I'm not sure about the TBSS one but it looks like it uses the same belt (6 rib?!) for the Procharger as it does for the accessories. I'd personally use a seperate belt.
Anyhow, I mentioned in another thread that I'm machining 10 of them that I designed for my car right now if anyone is interested at the end of this year. It fits perfect up to F1R blowers.
