LT1 Backfire or misfire?
I'm putting the final touches on my LT1 swap... I'm having a driving issue. when ever under heavy load or say trying to do a brake stand the motor starts to bog down and sputter. If i ease into then its fine.
NEW PARTS: opti, spugs+wires, ICM, coil, fuel pump
Checked PARTS: fuel regulator is OK good fuel pressure(45-50psi), MAF.
the parts I'm in question of are TPS(may be OK), O2s, MAP, EGR, CTS. these are the only parts I haven't checked... not to say they are bad but would any of these going faulty cause this problem.
WHAT I'M RUNNING...
94LT1, PCM stock programmed to run with a 6 speed... I'm actually Running a TH350... not computer controlled. would that be an issue? i would assume not because the 6 speed would NOT be controlled by the PCM just like the th350. but would the added vacuum for the modulator for the th350 cause any strain on the LT1 vacuum system? I wouldn't think so but more info is always better!
thanks in advance for any comments!

The TH350 not having a VSS of some sort is an issue, but not for the symptoms you describe. It will sometimes stall when slowing down, not bog under load
Check the plugs again. See if they're burning right, see if the connection is sound. A leaky injector will wash a plug
O2s are easy to test. Unplug and see if it goes away
Test the TPS using a multimeter and moving the range of motion. Anything but smooth voltage changes is a problem
MAPs can cause problems but it should be under any no/low load circumstances
Unhook the vacuum line to the EGR to test it
A faulty CTS will default to super rich. If you're exhaust isnt burning your eyes, the CTS is fine

Re: LT1 Backfire or misfire?
would bad O2s possibly cause a backfire/misfire situation? I recall not really noticing the issue when I was running open headers and no O2s. But it was way loud and i was going easy on it... I haven't had a chance to mess with it at since my last post but I'll check it.
I'll also double check my plugs and wires and see how they look, make sure I didn't fry any of the wires.

Re: LT1 Backfire or misfire?
They could if they're fouled lean and the PCM is enriching. Same test as before, unplug and see if it goes away
