19155167 - GMPP Accessory Drive System Without A/C

Thinking of using this accessory drive for a 6.0L swap into a 91 Camaro:http://paceperformance.com/index.asp...&ProdID=248708. Anyone use this? Any reason to think it wouldn't work?

Thats the corvette style accessories

The PS pump will be hitting the steering box. Alt may hit the fender well, not sure

Fbody accessories are the best option

Should have a prototype to show you later this evening, it is to delete the PS pump but i think Nemess also has one he is working on to keep the stock PS pump. It will delete the AC and re use the stock alternator.

That is the exact accessory kit i used on my LS376/480 swap i did on my '85 iroc. In fact i also bought it from Pace.

It worked great and had no issues at all. The accessories between f and y bodies are spaced out from the block differently so you want to make sure you have the right harmonic damper. The LS376/480 crate engine comes with the corvette damper installed so this kit was a natural.

see post #80 in the thread above for a pic of it installed in my iroc

Thanks! I thought your accessory drive looked like the 19155167 from Pace. In fact, your thread is why I asked if it would work.

Guess my accessory dilemma is solved.

How is the clearance between the power steering pulley and steering box? Thats what concerns me on this front drive. I was almost going to sell mine and try to locate a LS1 kit.

Here is the first prototype we made and i love it, it is available with power steering, but i doubt the stock alternator will work with the EFI system of the GEN III/IV, so if you went carb here is an option.

Only thing about that is, you can install an LS series using the f-body bracket without A/C on it, it's totally seperate on the motor.

Sounds like it fits. I've looked at other swap threads and it looks like other guys are using it, too. See https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/ltx-...-ls3-swap.html

Do you have one of these accessory drives? Haven't tried to fit it, yet?

I do have one of these accessory drives. However, I don't have my engine in the car yet (still prepping the engine bay and underbody). It really seems the p/s pulley would contact the steering box. But that would be great if it fits. It would save me the hassle of sourcing all the LS1 Fbody parts.
