wiring question
ok i am almost to the point that i can drive this thing, but i cant get it to fire. it cranks, but there is no signal to the fuel pump through the ecm, so i hot wired that one, and still no fire. if i hot wire power to the pin on the fuse block for the switched 12 v, i get the same result. so do i need a signal somewhere from a park or clutch switch to the ecm that will allow it to start? i found this on lt1swap.com
C12 - PPL - 420 - TCC Brake Switch/Cruise Control Release Signal
D3 - LT GRN - 275 - Park Neutral Position Switch Park Signal
F11 - DK GRN - 1433 - Park/Neutral Start Switch Signal
these pins on the back of the underhood fuse block are empty. according to lt1swap.com, i only needed to attach the pink switched power and the fuel pump lead to the fuse block. i got my constant 12v to the bulkhead connector elsewhere. if i need to hook up a switch from my brake pedal, would that need 12v to the f11 pin above? just looking for any advice so that i dont fry something with 12v that was expecting ground signal. thanks, nick.

Re: wiring question
The TCC brake wire goes to the factory brake switch. Your converter lockup wont be right without this
P/Neutral wires need to be grounded for auto or manual

Re: wiring question
i was hoping master pocket might chime in. so if i'm running a manual will the tcc switch matter? i'm going to try to get a minute at lunch to ground the other two and see what happens.

Re: wiring question
Its not needed. The old brake switch wire ran to the ECM. If you were going 4L60E, then it would be necessary to run it to the PCM
