Let's just move it to that section. . .

Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.

I've heard good things about the LS7 clutch. http://sdparts.com/details/scoggin-d...center/sdls7ck

Hope it's good, it's what I put in! (It was about $50 less when I bought mine.)

Welcome to thirdgen.org! You've come to the right place. You can learn anything you need to know by searching on these forums. I would suggest trying to do this swap on your own. You learn twice as much and twice as fast by doing it yourself. And when you screw up you will always learn too. Dont expect it to happen over night though.

What type of car are you putting it in? The 3.8 was either a Turbo Trans Am, which makes things different, or a 95 1/2 + 4thgen, which again, makes it different...

Werd, the LS7 clutch I have in my 98 is an awesome piece of work, 5k dumps, rolling dumps and 6500 power shifts and it holds together great with a stock clutch feel, unlike the Spec 3 which will have a very stiff pedal.

If this is a 4th gen car, then you need the 2000 LS1 cradle I happen to have for sale. . .
